On CDJapan it says it has no subtitles, they usually label stuff if it has English subtitles.Just got a package from Amazon Japan. Didn't realise this blu ray had English subs until recently. Limited Edition of Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress movie "The Battle of Unato". I love the series and recently saw the movie for the first time and needed the blu. Considering it seems to still have no UK/US release planned I thought I'd pick up the JP version. Just in case.
Cool, I’ll have to get it then.I know. That's why I thought it didn't too. It was a post on a forum from WTK that showed that it does.
What's that Kase-san item on the right?

For @Gemsy-chan Couldn't get a screenshot from my software which showed the subs so I went old school and just took a photo of my TV. I watched a few scenes and didn't see any bad spelling grammar or other errors. It all looked pretty well written from what I've seen. Of course the special features don't have subtitles but I've never known any JP editions that do. In this case you won't be missing much though as the only really notable extra is the storyboards with dialogue and since the dialogue is the same in the finished movie it's not an issue. The other extras are openings and closings without text.I'll try and share a screenshot when I get the chance @Gemsy-chan The post showed the menu for subs but I don't think it showed an example of translation. I only own a handful of JP releases with English subs however they've all had good grammar and good wording so far. Hopefully this is the same.
It's "Asagao to Kase-san" a 60 min movie. I saw that the blu ray had english subs and wasn't too expensive so thought why not. Its a blind buy for me.What's that Kase-san item on the right?
Ah, I couldn't tell it was a blu-ray box from the photo; I thought it was some kind of merchandise. Kase-san and Morning Glories is a beautiful, wholesome yuri story that does a surprisingly good job of condensing a five-volume manga into an hour. It's "Asagao to Kase-san" a 60 min movie.
