I've had to order a new mobile phone today. My old mobile phone had been on its last legs for a long time (battery not lasting long, the 'on' button falling out, having to put the charging cable in at a certain angle for it to charge, etc).

I'm the kind of person that uses something until it's completely unusable, but today my old mobile died for the last time (RIP). I put the charger in and it's no longer powering up. I've had it around 7 years, so it had a good run.

I've bought another cheap one for just less than £100 from Amazon and it should be arriving today. I only use my mobile for phone calls, texts, online banking, and authenticators, so I've never seen the point of spending stupid money on one.

Hopefully this one will last me another 7 years+.

After the death of Spin-Chan, I have picked up Allez-Kun for the princely sum of £300. Not too bad for a second hand Specialized Road bike. I’m hoping g to pick up a smart trainer in the next few days and then I can get pack on my own brand Yowamushi Pedal adventure at home and away.

Nice! I hope to emulate this success one day, and pick up some retro Manga Video / Kiseki / Pioneer anime, just as decoration for my shelf. I've no interest in paying big prices for any of it - but if I ever happen to see them for a couple of pounds each at a car boot sale or something, then I'd definitely pick them up.
