The standard edition is being released in January, but will be available early at MCM in October. It was basically commissioned because the CE wouldn't have been ready in time to sell at MCM.

Wasn't Space Dandy season one supposed to come with an artbox to fit season two as well hence the £60 srp then season two would be cheaper? Or did I completely dream that up :p

They're probably adding the artbox for Part 2 (similar plans to Kill la Kill with Part 3).

I can't help but laugh at the random BBFC bits (I know it's a placeholder). A happy looking cover then suddenly it's an 18 for strong gory images, bravo.

I know it's just a place-holder, but "Contains gory images, sex references"...I'm pretty sure that the series ended before it adapted a certain part of the manga? :p

Alternatively...Die-kichi...

If they want to use an 18 TBC that's fine, but a place holder with a strong gory images & sex references seems like a poor decision

Yu-Gi-Oh! follows the adventures of a boy named Yugi and his friends who love the newest card game that is sweeping the nation! In this game, players pit monster against monster in high intensity duels. But there's more to this game than meets the eye. Yugi solves an old Egyptian puzzle that infuses him with the energy of an ancient spirit. Their forces unite to form a stronger, more confident duelist, for Yugi needs all the help he can get!

Place your bets on whether that box is chipboard or not ;-)

I like how it says 'the official first season' - as if there was an unofficial first season too.

Maybe they redid all the discs to strip the extras and spread the episodes out more instead to pretend we're getting more content.

(I don't actually know whether there were any extras in the first place, but if Manga are going to give UK fans a raw deal with so many other releases then they deserve these potshots.)
