I'm sure the show is perfectly fine, but it's clear with that dub the mark FUNimation is attempting to hit. It doesn't bother me that they're trying to hit that mark, what bothers me is that, quite frankly, they aren't very good at it.
The "back door" clip (which having googled it, might not be an actual clip from the show, but I think it is...) repeated the same joke about 5 times in a row, just to make sure the audience understood the innuendo, which defeats the entire point of having innuendo and is quite insulting to the audience's intelligence. Also, repeating the same joke over and over in such a short period is just annoying and unfunny.

I figured that given a lot of people were hating the series I thought it would be a laugh just to make a joke. Glad someone noticed! :lol:

I'll be first to say that I'm definitely getting it, but I really don't like the English logo, how messy the box looks or the fact that it's another space waster like NGNL with three DVD cases and a booklet.

Do give Nozaki-kun a go because it's really a great comedy. I'm not sure if it's necessary to at least like some Shoujo stuff to get the most out of it, maybe just an awareness is good enough really.
