As for the Durarara!! Season 1 set, given you mentioned LE I assumed you're actually referring to the re-released Standard Edition. The original LE (aka the Lunchbox) is out of print now unfortunately.

That Tokyo ghoul set was bigger than I thought it would be,though I do wonder what caused them to cancel it.

well @wtk on twitter just posted Funimation's official note to fans regarding the CE but it still doesn't detail what the 'defects' in the final product are... The unboxing vids i've seen show no sign of issues

The Mecha should always be secondary to the cute girls. If it's not the same in the show then they're doing it wrong.

I don't know if the picture they've got for Locodol is the best, though at least they didn't go for something over the top on fanservice. It does feel like Uogokoro-kun should be in there somewhere though.

Wow, that Tsukihime reversible cover is incredible. I gotta hand it to you Sentai, you guys make Funimation look like amateurs when it comes to your re-release covers.
 
It's a shame they couldn't do a Bku Ray for Tsukihime - I might have double dipped and upgraded from my MvM DVDs if they had.

Probably doesn't have the popularity to justify doing the upscale work, what with most people adopting a stance that they've yet to make a Tsukihime anime. (which ironically made me pick up a MvM copy in CEX a while back)

I completely agree with this.

It's especially great if you like character driven shows, almost every character gets some kind of story and development.
