Yet another show I've not heard of but looks up my alley. I feel almost everything Sentai puts out seems like it's directly aimed at me. I have no idea what that says about my taste...

Only good things. Well, I'd like to think so.

I enjoyed Invaders of the Rokujyoma a fair bit. I liked the characters and they mostly have interesting stories (each of the characters has their own story, though there's also story involving all of them). It could probably have done with a second season or so since the wider stories are mostly just starting by the end of the season (though I guess that's pretty standard for light novel adaptations).

It's also one of those shows that kind of looks like a harem but isn't really, if that makes a difference to anyone.

Something fun to add. Here's the Japanese cover arts for Durarara!!x2 Shou and some of Durarara!!x2 Ten.

Note that these sets are Japanese language only.

Durarara!!x2 Shou (Volumes 1-6):

In the Aniplex of America releases, each season of x2 will be released in 2 volumes each. The first volume uses Japanese cover arts 1 and 3.

Bigger packaging than I was expecting, thanks for the tip I've added the image to the spoiler tag on my DRR!! post.

Is the Calibur SAO set literally just the three episodes that make up the Calibur arc? Or does it have some of Mother's Rosario on it too?

So they've come up with 9 or 10 different covers for Durarara!!x2 and all of them look awful. How is that even possible?

I hope AL get given something better to work with...

I love the Durarara!!x2 covers myself. I think if Anime Limited release each series as 1 part rather than 2 I'll buy it from them, otherwise I may grab the Aniplex of America sets.

It's just the Calibur arc with 3 episodes only. The price for the set is lower than the others (RE/LE: $52.00/$77.98 instead of $89.98/$118.00).

The episode count should be applied to the Anime Limited and Madman versions but it's not clear yet.

They all look slightly off to me, which is probably worse than if they'd been completely off. They look a bit like they based on the LN illustrations rather than the anime's character designs.

So about the same price as all 26 episodes of Attack on Titan, but with less bonus features? No wonder EJ Rivera sounds so out of his depth when trying to justify AoA's pricing strategy in interviews.

Yeah same - the boxes look sturdier than the usual volume sets from Aniplex (Aldnoah.Zero/SAO Extra edition style cases) and so I'm very interested in unboxing the set.

Just order DRRR!! Season 1 LE from Rightstuf as Up1 said they were unable to get me one which is sad lol (took them over a week to let me know it was out of stock)

They've done a much better on the cardboard packaging nowadays (the Garden of Sinners: recalled out summer and Expelled From Paradise have pretty sturdy packaging for being cardboard) in contrast to when they started with Nekomonogatari Black.

As for the Durarara!! Season 1 set, given you mentioned LE I assumed you're actually referring to the re-released Standard Edition. The original LE (aka the Lunchbox) is out of print now unfortunately.

50 dollars for 3 episodes of animation is pretty hilarious.

That said, I was first in line to plump my money down for the 60 minute Gundam The Origin releases, so I can't really talk.

They're charging $50 for a regular edition, at least Gundam The Origin was a limited edition that Bandai are trying their hardest to keep that way (in the West at least). I hope AL get to do a standard edition that isn't charged at a £1+ a minute though...
