Nice, except, why do combi pack buyers pay more to get a blue band ruining their artwork?

Thankfully with Viz's special sets (Blood Lad, Gargantia & K for instance) the banner is removable.

Image links are broken Josh.

I actually think the Amazon LE looks much better in terms of design and what you actually get. You can have a fold out record holder size case with some art cards, or a sensibly sized artbox with two booklets.
Seems like a no brainer to me. Funi's LE is just far too big and loses out on the good stuff.

They work for me. Odd.

Ditto. Amazon one is better.

That's because you have them in your browser cache, and funimation uses cloudflare so you wouldn't be able to hotlink any images from their site (I've mentioned this already in this thread).

Both look good, I slightly prefer the FUNi store exclusive. With import fee's Amazon.com exclusive comes too $119.95, I am not sure it is worth that much and with FUNi not shipping to the UK, I Might just settle for the UK version then.

Should work now, because I used magic of my own.

While both designs are great I will probably pass on both. There's no space for a Vinyl type set on my shelf and I'm not a particular fan of the Clamshell box (which I guess is exactly what Command & Conqueror: First Decade PC game set used) but I'm not ruling it out yet (not to mention it's coming from Amazon so don't expect the package to be in successful condition).

Here's a good idea of what the rest of the Monogatari covers will look like in the Aniplex release, since they basically use the Japanese covers:

Onimonogatari - December 2014

Koimonogatari - Possibly February 2015

Hanamonogatari - Possibly April 2015

Shouldn't be long now for the Chunibyo CE Final Cover Art I hope.

-- UPDATE --

Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! Season 1 Collector's Edition has been delayed to February 25th 2015 due to some components/extras that have yet to arrive for the special set.

How come France gets Kill La Kill in 2 sets?

Probably because it's a non-English speaking country. Very little to no risk of imports to Japan.

This makes no sense to me though, if they are going to import and have multi region they don't care if the 2nd language is English or French.

I think it's more likely that we get 3 sets in the UK because the US doesn't want the risk of US fans importing our set.

But the US and Australia get it in 5 sets, so Mission Not Accomplished.

It's probably because English is a second language in Japan, whereas French isn't.

Most people can change the audio to Japanese by either hitting a button on their remote of spending a moment navigating the menus (which are fairly standard in layout). I don't see having English as a second language being of benefit to a Japanese importer when it's quite simple to switch the audio that way.

But the US and Australia get it in 5 sets, so Mission Not Accomplished.

3 is less attractive to import than 2, you get hit with 3x postage and 3x customs. The above simplicity of switching languages of BD/DvD is why I don't think this is a UK/JP thing but a US/UK measure.
