UK Anime Christmas Sales for 2024 [Anime Ltd's 12 Days of Xmas + More]

I had added in the rezero season 2 CE part 2 to my order (I must have forgotten to preorder it with part 1...), which I don't think is out yet so I'm guessing I'm not getting my order until it is? I take it part 1 has been delayed as I think it was meant to have released by now? Guess I'm not getting my order until the new year

Even with the postage costs, these flash deals are likely to be the best prices. The cheapest the Evergarden Movie 4K CE set has ever been on Amazon is £48 and the lowest price on Zavvi was £32.99 during Black Friday just gone.

Anime Limited don't seem to be skimping on their deals at Christmas.

I'm still hoping for a good deal on Great Pretender DE

That was my main guess for the flash sale (more of a hope though, haha).

What's going against the idea for me, is that it's still ~3 months off being a year old; and the products we've seen in the flash sale last year and this year (so far) have been at least a year old.

Other potentials I've just noted, just based on the Evergarden 4K, could be:

EVANGELION:3.0+1.11 THRICE UPON A TIME - Blu-ray + 4K UHD Deluxe Edition
One Piece Film: Red - Blu-ray + 4K UHD Collector's Edition

Both more than a year old now and would fall in line with their "higher end" theme.

Apologies if this has been mentioned before, but: I wonder why ATA don't offer an option to "buy now, but ship at the end of the sale", such that people can add items to the order through the lifetime of the sale. Saves on postage, better for the environment (as opposed to multiple smaller parcels), and gives their more dedicated customers the ability to buy without fear of items selling out.

I can't imagine it would be terribly difficult to implement, though I'm sure it's a limitation with their third party payment page - the same one that won't let you use a discount code if part of the order is BOGOF.

(Though, now I type that, that's another problem that it would solve. Put in an order for regular items, use the code. Put in a second BOGOF order, and then just choose to link it to the original order.)

Seconded. As an international customer this would only result in me ordering more from them so it's a win-win. As it stands I placed a single order on day 1 and I am still flip-flopping on whether to place another. In the end I will probably just save my money rather than forcing myself to hit the high threshold for free shipping.

It’s too sensible. Completely at odds with the fundamental AL philosophy.
And it’s not just relevant for international orders; that last flash sale (perfect blue book) had me torn, because the shipping cancels out the UNLIMITED discount, and even after adding an item, it’s still 52p under the limit!
The conspiracy thinking would suggest that they just want to encourage subsequent big orders (even at the expense of losing a similar proportion of potential smaller ones)

(as I never got the Perfect Blue UE, and even without the CD, it could go well with my steelbook and CE)

Next up: Tower of God Ultimate Edition

In the product details, the SRP is listed as £119.99, but the big font discount at the top is £149.99 to £49.99.

If I wasn't acquainted with AL's laziness when it comes to their website, I'd say that was some nefariousness gone wrong.

Is the Tower of God Ultimate Edition worth it? I haven’t seen the show before but have heard good things and am tempted. Although obviously I could also just watch it on Crunchyroll. 😅
