I wonder what would have happened to the market if 4 episode releases continued. I wonder if it would have died (quicker)?
I think the whole point of the change in the Western market over the last few years has been that we already have the evidence for that model that shows that it died quicker. And quicker. And quicker.

Facebook isn't loading for me today, but I did manage to see enough of an MVM post that said that they sold 400 units of Lunar Legend last week!

400! Blimey. Some shows are lucky if they reach that when first released.

I do feel kind of bad for jumping on their drastically reduced titles while either importing or using HMV for everything else. It must be tough being an independent anime retailer/distributor.

Oh, looks good, the title sounds rather lame but then when I read the synopsis, I changed my mind, shall need some muneh now.

I assume you mean Starship Operators, yeah?

My low down: It's not an awesome series, but it's very watchable, and the characters are quite likeable. CG is terrible. Opening tune is the aces.

I have a fondness for it, being the sort of pot-boiler sci-fi the Japanese do so well. For a measly four quid, it's not one to pass up.

Totally agree with HdE, StarOp is more than just "Stellvia with boobs" (not that I don't love Stellvia, but it's quite different in tone) and is definitely worth picking up at that price.
