The code will work on pre-orders, but if the grand total (without code) happens to drop below £50 before dispatch, they'll probably disable the code. That was definitely the case last year.
 
I'll update the forum in regards to my second Madman order 'cause why not.

17th- order hit Parcelforce's Coventry hub

21st- Customs Charges were "raised"

24th- Revised Customs Charges raised, item released and en route to delivery hub.

Revised charges suck as it means a higher charge than was originally applied :(

There will be complaints if they attempt to charge more than 20% of the orders value given that Madman don't undervalue packages anymore.
 
My two orders arrived in Ireland this evening, one containing Gundam:IBO, the other containing Shirobako(dvd), Star Driver(dvd), Eureka Seven AO(bluray) and SAO: Extra Edition(bluray). Both orders have had no customs charges raised on them depite costing €40.30 and €33 respectivly ex shipping.
 
Customs charge of £29.69 for package #2
Should have been between £25-£26 so I've been overcharged. Delivery is due tomorrow so I can see what HMRC has done.

I'm starting to think perhaps I should got into other categories. Some electronics or whatever. Except, I also can't think of anything I need there either. @.@
 
Since video game Pre-orders aren't allowed I currently have my eye on Tokyo Ghoul Illustrations and Re Volumes 1 and 2. It's just filling the remaining cost that I'm unsure about atm.
