Sounds like everyone got hit by customs so now I’m curious how high the limit in the UK is. It’s £20ish over here.

Anything over £15 can be hit with import fees.
I made two orders under the limit and received no fees.

Yeah, mine was under as well after taking off postage.

No, import fees are all about regaining some of the tax missed out on by not paying VAT on the physical items themselves as far as I'm aware. So delivery is not part of the calculation.

My first Madman order was indeed not undervalued but simply didn't have the shipping fee included on the customs slip.

Actually postage is normally taken into calculation, but not at the stage to determine if it has to be taxed. It's considered part of the full value if the item has to be taxed.

Madman don't include the postage value on their customs declaration so it doesn't get applied there, but usually it is part of the total that 20% is taken from.

1-2 sales a year max. The Jan clearance sale is the most recurring one.
