Even I like Fruits Basket, and I hate everything.
I would definitely jump on that for a few months of the year here and there.britguy said:Prime is actually in the process of rolling out a monthly option, no commitment and Cancel any time. It's only been offered to a select few (I'm thankfully one of them two of my friends are not) at present, but it costs £7.99 a month.
I'd also recommend Fruits Basket. As well as being a great Shoujo title, I think it's also a bit more accessible than some. I'd say a lot of that has to do with having a very strong female protagonist (rather than a bland self-insert type), though the male characters are plenty interesting as well so that probably helps.IncendiaryLemon said:MVM's DOTW is now Fruits Basket

How is this one? It's a title I've been aware of for sometime but I'm not sure exactly what it is or how good it is.
Who wants to bet that eventually the £7.99 monthly option will become the default option with the £79 annual fee dropped, pushed as a "we've been listening to our customers who said they would prefer to pay for Prime monthly with the option of cancelling at any time" without mentioning the cost increase.britguy said:Prime is actually in the process of rolling out a monthly option, no commitment and Cancel any time. I was one of those who would gladly pay for amazon prime, but never liked the idea of the bulk fee, so now paying 8 quid a month (annual sub still works out the cheapest) and able to cancel whenever I want, I'm happy
I'm just as annoyed; but thats what happens in sale/promotions .GolGotha said:Slightly annoyed that after two or so months of hassle getting my whole Rice Digital order sent to me, it's now half price.... ^^'Emo185 said:Rice Digital have just started their Black Friday Deals; and there is some 'interesting' offers to be had (such as Half-Price on Exclusive Collectors Edition Bundles).
Steins;Gate – Limited Edition (PS3 / PS Vita) - £19.99
Steins;Gate – El Psy Kongroo Edition (PS3 / PS Vita) - £24.99
There's also some discounts on a lot of other items (such as anime dvds, merchandise and so forth); so it's worth having a look.
Lol, my plan is to get in to work for 8.30, log in to everything necessary (Anime Limited store and paypal) then check bang on 9am!IncendiaryLemon said:As Anime Ltd themselves just posted a reminder on Twitter, I thought it might be good to put on here too. Anime Ltd's 12 Days of Anime Sale begins tomorrow at 9am. Depending on the offer, these have been known to sell out rather quick, so if you're interested, make sure you get there sharpish!
I know my plan is to get up at 9, check out the deal then head back to bed
I'm waiting for Berserk to show up. I know Dark Horse are putting out their titles on there as a bunch of CLAMP are available for pretty good prices (see Cardcaptor Sakura and Chobits as examples).Mangaranga said:The current Rightstuf sale is ridiculous. There's so much that I want to order that it's not even funny. The biggest ones I'm waiting to show up are Amagami SS/SS+ and the Patlabor franchise (in part due to ilmaestro's comments about the series) before I place another order :x
Will probably pick up Love Election and Chocolate and the ridiculously cheap Towanoquon/Mardock Scramble releases too. I really do need to stop looking at the additions daily...
