UK Anime Blu-ray & DVD Bargains

The MVM DVD Deal of the Week is now Bodacious Space Pirates Part 1 for £9.99.

MVM have also confirmed that Blu-rays will not be part of the DOTW (the current titles released on that format are Bakemonogatari, Broken Blade, FLCL, Kids on the Slope, Nisemonogatari and Patlabor: Early Days OVA). It's strange how Broken Blade was requested for the DOTW when MVM didn't realise that all those requests were for the Blu-ray release to be part of the DOTW, hence why everyone was complaining. But now MVM have at least kindly put the Blu-ray and DVD MSRP to be the same therefore releasing Nisemonogatari: Part 1 and Patlabor: Early Days OVA at £15.99 instead of £25.99.

Which is as odd as when Animenation used a Manabi Straight image for a FUNimation sale.
