UK Anime Blu-ray & DVD Bargains

Heh. I got the old Hellsing box set from MVC for £15 when it was supposed to be £50. Wanted to get more than one but I was worried they might get suspicious.

I got that for around £15 from MVC as well. I figured they must have confused it with the price for volume 1 (not that I said anything).
 
The price for the singles was £19.99, like all ADV singles (£1 off with an MVC card). I figured someone somewhere just got fifty and fifteen confused.

It actually happened. I ordered a copy for £3.99 and it shipped this morning. I didn't expect that Sainsbury's would honour the pre-order price but kudos to them for doing so.

I preordered a copy at £3.99 and it shipped today. I guess the number of orders at that price wasn't of such volumes that it was worth cancelling existing orders.

Received mine this morning, still shocked they honoured it, just need to preorder the second part at the full price now! boo :p
 
I wouldn't mind but I was one of the people to report it on here and just thought there's no way there gonna honour it. Kicking myself now :p
 
Amazon UK reduced some prices by a bit:
Steins;Gate Part 1 (Blu-ray) is now £20.63
Outlaw Star (DVD) is now £21.25
Persona 4: The Animation, Volume 3 is now £20.63

In theory, Amazon is cheaper because it has free delivery. The problem I have with UP1 is that each item adds £1.50 for shipping (depending on size).

But you'd be waiting ages if you chose the free delivery option on amazon as your not a priority to them (when HSOTD was being shipped early from play.com, amazon was sitting on its hands and I decided to never pre-order anything from them again).

£17.99 and £2 for shipping. Still cheaper than Amazon.
