UK Anime Blu-ray & DVD Bargains

Very odd to see the complete collection at £12 when Amazon still have it at a ridiculous £42. Wonder why the collection's pricing has been so weird.

Yes it's been pretty mad, rrp was something silly like £60 when the individual volumes were rrp £30, common sense would dictate that the combined set should of been a lower rrp. Not to mention when it hit amazon they had it priced well above the 2 single sets.

United Publications currently have Shiki Part 1 and 2 for £5 each or you could go for the complete collection at £12.

I really can't decide on whether or not to buy this. It's been on my to buy list for some time but minus Hellsing I've never really seen any anime thats horror genre-ish so I don't know whether I'd enjoy it. Oh, except for Requiem From The Darkness but me no like that at all.

Shiki is one of my favourite shows. The climate is totally different from Hellsing over-the-topness and I think the show would be best described as 'a drama with horror elements' rather than a pure entry into the horror genre. Oh, and the music is enchanting.
