Top 10 worst anime of all time!!!

Odin has such a terrible reputation that even I - someone who not only watched but paid for Violence Jack, Vampire Wars, and other such incredibly ****** Manga Entertainment OVAs - never had the slighest desire to watch it. There wasn't much anime around in the mid-1990s, but it never got so bad that I considered watching Odin.

Likewise. It always amused me that the example on the Minamicon Bring and Buy form was an Odin VHS tape (for a very low buy price). Presumably something everyone unfortunate enough to pay for at some point would be wanting to get rid of.

There goes my last remaining shred of credibility ;_;

To be honest I also bought some aweful Manga film that I don't remember the name of. Involved flying islands or something. Anyway, you should definately rewatch Jin-Roh.

I couldn't give a list of 10 worst anime's of all time. I enjoy most if not all the animes I watch. However, there has only EVER been one anime series I've ever dropped, and that was "100 Stories". I tried so much to watch it all but it just did my head in so much.

Sorry Requiem from the Darkness fans! =_=

Violence Jack is pretty bad, but I'd put it in the so bad it's good category.
With Violence Jack all you need is the trailer.

Dundundundundundundundun "Call me Jack" DOWWWWWWWW "Call me Violence Jack"

Thinking about it, Shippuuden is probably the worst anime I've ever watched. Since I loved the original Naruto series, it had to be pretty bad for me to drop it, and I dropped it after only 17 or 18 episodes. It has the honour of being my lowest rated series with a score of 3/10 - 1/10 below Howl's Moving Castle.

I think this videos sums up the series: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=7WmAUlZLzYo

Oh God. I hated that part of Shippuuden. It made me rage hard. Hell, they could have resolved that in less than one episode.

"How do we beat these clones that seemed to have depleted our stamina?"
"Let's fight harder!"
"Power up? Good idea!"

Ugh. That's the resolution to those fights in a nutshell. I'm glad I dropped it.

I quit Naruto Ship after I started watching Avatar at which point its lack of quality became really clear.

What are you talking about? Vampire Wars is easily better than most things mentioned in this thread.

My brother told me Vampire Wars was awful but I gave it a try and I liked it.

Quite shocked some people have mentioned Akira and Ghost In The Shell, they are 2 of the 1st 3 anime's I saw, the other being DevilMan and the reason I watch it today. I'd personally have these in my top 5, Akira being my favourite.

Anyway as mentioned before each to their own.

so the general feeling when the new natruo shippen hits in the summer is that you guys don't think i should get at all? just stick with the first show?

Depends on how patient you are. There are still good moments in Shippuuden, sadly there are plenty of bad even dire moments interspersed between them. When it goes into filler eps it really is the pits.

You know, I find it difficult to come up with such a list. I mean I have seem a few very bad Anime: Virus, Kai Doh Maru, Angel Cop, Legend of the Overfiend, The Judge, Nadesico: Prince of Darkness. which are admittedly pretty bad. Then I have seem those which while not bad, are just really boring, such as 'She: The ultimate weapon, 'The Third' and 'Heat Guy J' Where as finally there are those which are not nessisarilly all bad, but which gain such unapplicable praise in my mind as to seem horribly overated (Eva certainly, but also Sailor Moon, Ranma 1/2, Death Note) Even Spirited away, while a very good film, is not even in my top 5 Miyazaki and detracts from what I believe are better films. That does not make it nessisarilly a 'bad' film, but it certainly detracts from my own preference. So not, I don't think I can make a list such as that.

...but then again, I would rather gouge my eyes out than watch Kai Doh Maru again :p
