I think it depends who uploaded it. I’ve noticed some studios upload VHS copies of things on there. So I guess that’s somewhat legit. I found the complete Cutie Honey Flash on there uploaded by a random person. As I can’t buy those legit, I downloaded the mkv files. I then used Handbreak to convert to mp4 with the subs burnt in which I’ve uploaded to my Apple Photos, I can now stream them from my Apple TV. Obviously it was a little work and I’d much rather buy them if they were available, but as they are not, I don’t feel too guilty. I also did the same with UY film, Beautiful Dreamer and I found a laserdisc rip of Starship Troopers OVAs.Is the Internet Archive considered legit, as they appear to have the whole 26 episode live series for streaming or download. Which is nice (but I'm happy with my Blu Rays).
Not sure I understand the query, but here's my BD for saving 80k Gold.A question from me for once (I was going to post this in the Crunchyroll UK thread but figured here was more appropriate).
Thanks to Dragon Slayer for providing me photos of the recent July releases for the three multi-language titles (The Aristocrat's Otherworldly Adventure: Serving Gods Who Go Too Far, I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too & The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World), I am wondering when they had changed the artwork approach for these releases.
For a bit of background/context, when they introduced the multi-language releases they took the approach of swapping the reversible/inside artwork with a German version of the front cover used on the slipcase (on top of the high SRP). The only title that had this exception was The Girl from the Other Side because its release was for UK & France only, but the rest did.
With these three mentioned above not having this modification of the artwork (despite including the same language options as per usual), my question now is when did this take full effect? There have been a few of these releases in recent months (below is a recap) and I would like to know which ones kept the original inside artwork and which didn't:
I'm bringing it up here because very few would own these shows and unboxing photos for UK anime is pretty rare on the net in all honesty.
- Dead Mount Death Play Part 1
- I’m the Villainess So I’m Taming the Final Boss
- The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World
- KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World
- The Legendary Hero is Dead!
- Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement
Thanks! That's basically what I'm looking for with those remaining titles. Not sure I understand the query, but here's my BD for saving 80k Gold.

I received this last week, the 4k disc is region free and works in my UK player. The blu-ray is region A locked.Anyone got the US 4K release of The Boy and the Heron? - Would like to know if the 4K disc works on non-American players, as GKIDS/Shout have locked 4K disks before.
Do you have a source for this? I can't see anything on the Crunchyroll website and I know the US date is in October, but never seen confirmation of the UK. There's no PR been sent out either afaikCrunchyroll confirmed the UK+IE release will be on October 18.
However this announcement is just a few hours old, so just be patient
When it comes to DVD players, all can play Dolby Digital, but not all can play DTS. It shouldn’t be an issue with Blu-ray players though. The GitS 2: Innocence I brought to send to my sister has the film on 2 discs. Apart from different extras the only difference seems to be the audio 5.1 for both languages on 1 and DTS on 2. I'm wondering if it matters which I send? or whether to just send both anyway disc 1 has a commentary and 2 has an interview.
Cheers. Not sure what she has as a player. I'll definitely send disc 1. I have the commentary on blu-ray, so don't need that disc for that either. When it comes to DVD players, all can play Dolby Digital, but not all can play DTS. It shouldn’t be an issue with Blu-ray players though.
