The oldest system you have played?

Wow that was one of the first Atari's  Though i think that was it was released. The only other console i can think of that matches your description is the Binatone, as that came with 6 games and all of them were varations on pong. Ah the early days of gaming

This is the first console I played. A mate of my dads owned one, and my dad borrowed it for a bit. I seem to remember playing the pong style games, space invaders, and pac-man on it.

pac-man on it.

Was that the pac man game which was suposedly worse then the E.T game that came out for it?

I wonder where we would be if we never had Pong and such variations.

Probaly watching some highly interactive tv...though imagine what it would be like if video games were made for the first time now. Imagine the hype Pong would get :p

I still think we should give our repects to Space War, for if that game never existed then Pong wouldn't of come around.

nope, imagine a small brick, with a little knob u could turn to move the paddles and a button so you can reset the game

Oldest thing I played was the sega master system and the mega drive II (which is the same as a mega drive I anit it?) and thinking about it, I think Sonic the Hedgehog was my first ever game, ah bliss, shame his games suck now though...

The only game I can remember playing on the spectrum (must have been about 3 or 4 at the time!) was paperboy but I remember fond memories of Mortal Kombat 2, Lemmings and Beneath the Steel Sky on the amiga and this other first person game where you had a step by step thing and had to get to the end and shoot eachother or something??!! Great Days!!

I never liked Paperboy. Couldn't ever get the grips fully with the game. High skill which I didn't have back then was troublesome. =\
