According to Reuters Sony are looking to acquire Kadokawa. The way this is being framed it seems to be mainly for their gaming division to gain control of From Software.

I suspect it's being framed that way since they think the Western readers will recognise Kadokawa more for Fromsoft (especially when the context is Sony which makes you think games), but this could potentially be a HUGE problem for all the publishing businesses Kadokawa runs and obviously make the existing anime issues they have worse. Not a good look.

Can picture it now

Sony buys Kodokawa

Sony lets everyone know Bookwalker will be safe

12 months later Bookwalker will become Crunchyroll Manga

6 months later Crunchyroll Manga will be discontinued in favor of the Crunchyroll site, there will be no option to transfer purchases to Crunchyroll

Just seen a trailer announcing that second season of Pokemon Horizons will be on Netflix as of 7th February. Whether or not it will be on the BBC before that I don't know.

ETA: Another trailer just came up. The series will debut on the BBC in January.

Moon Child by Reiko Shimizu is the first multi-volume manga I completed (it's 13 volumes) and I really loved it - she's the author of Himitsu - Top Secret, so I'm potentially interested in this, there's also an anime of it IIRC though I've not seen the whole thing just the first ep or two maybe :)

I enjoyed it. Likeable characters except the bad ones. Interesting cases often 2 part stories.
If next year is the Japanese release, who knows when we might see these.

I'm interested in the Vermeil in Gold Steelbook, released 17/12/24.
In case someone wants a simple method of obtaining it, I noticed the UK eBay seller, toysandfilms has listed it for pre order.
However, it is £71.99. You wouldn't have to worry about customs or anything. The Crunchy site has it at $75 as a comparison.

Wowhd have it at £42. You'd add VAT to that and may or may not have extra fees. Free postage, though. They are a pain to deal with if something goes wrong.
