Heaven's Feel is shipping from CDJapan!

My copy was supposed to arrive today from Amazon JP, but there was a full-days delay at the Tokyo airport yesterday for some reason, so I'll get it tomorrow instead. It always takes less than 40 hours to ship from the warehouse in Japan to my front porch, but not this time... :(

Slightly off-topic but I know some folks may be interested in this - Eureka Ent. are releasing Jackie Chan's Police Story 1 & 2 on Blu-ray for the UK.

New Announcement! Jackie Chan's POLICE STORY & POLICE STORY 2, two of the finest action films ever made from cinema’s reigning Martial Arts king, for the first time on Blu-ray in the UK on 20 August 2018, in a Limited Edition (3000 copies) Hard Cased Box Set. Available to PRE-ORDER NOW

Two of Jackie Chan’s most iconic films explode onto Blu-ray from incredible new 4K restorations! Featuring some of the most dangerous stunts ever performed on camera, Police Story and Police Story 2 are a dazzling blend of gritty action cop drama and impeccably choreographed martial-arts sequences that revitalized the Hong Kong action genre and established Jackie Chan as a worldwide superstar.

Police Story – considered by Jackie Chan himself to be his best film in terms of pure action, Police Story stars Chan as “super cop” Chan Ka-Kui, who goes up against a notorious crime lord in a series of escalating set-pieces that resulted in many of Jackie’s stunt team being hospitalised.

Police Story 2 – Demoted to traffic cop after the events of the first film, Chan Ka-Kui is reinstated to the detective unit when a deadly gang of explosive experts blow up a building and threaten to blow up more if their demands are not met. Featuring yet more bravura stunt work, and even more injuries to its cast and crew, Police Story 2 is to this day considered one of the best action films ever made.

Presented from brand new 4K restorations and fully uncut, Eureka Classics is proud to present Jackie Chan’s Police Story and Police Story 2 for the first time on Blu-ray in the UK in a special Limited Edition Box Set packed with extra content.

Studio Canal will give My Neighbour Totoro a theatrical re-release and release a special edition 'box set' for its 30th Anniversary

I get it, everybody loves Totoro - myself included! - but it seems a bit disrespectful to Grave of the Fireflies, especially given Takahata's recent passing, if they're going to ignore its anniversary completely. They were originally a double bill after all.

I'm also not sure what they could include in a 'box set'. They didn't do one for Mononoke last year and that one actually has a 6 hour making-of.

More theatrical stuff is always good, similar opinion to you on this, would have been better for grave of the fireflies to also had something done for it.

Top comment on that Facebook page mentions some pre-orders already out. I found a load of Aussie ones: JB HI-FI
