Cool, that's a pleasant surprise! It was a lovely series and a great spiritual sequel to Onegai Teacher. I hope Tatsuyuki Nagai is back to direct. Are they going to introduce twins this time?

I should put this as a full on news post but i'm in a bit of a rush. So Lupin III: A woman called Mine Fujiko is getting a spin-off sequel film based on Jigen Daisuke called Gravestone. Will get a limited screening in the Summer. Koike says that he'd love to make more spin-offs based around the lupin world of Mine Fujiko if he can get the chance.

Funimation USA Classic Line version of Is This A Zombie? doesn't include the OVA on Blu-ray and also has locked subtitles.

Japan's content overseas distribution teams up with USA's MPAA to protect anime and manga, presumably to stop piracy... Good.

After Psycho Pass, Noitamina will be doing an anime movie adaptation of Project Itoh's sci-fi novels.

Nowhere does it say that it will be a sequel.

It states in the original report that the cast is returning for this, so naturally it would scream sequel (especially since the scene at the end of the last episode leaves room for a sequel).

Nowhere does it say that it will be a sequel.

It states in the original report that the cast is returning for this, so naturally it would scream sequel (especially since the scene at the end of the last episode leaves room for a sequel).

The image is inconsistent with what a sequel would have to be for it to be consistent with the last episode. OVA or recap film both seem more likely. Plus of course all the mystery (both for the viewers as well as for the characters) was resolved in the first season - there's nothing of real significance left to be uncovered.

Although a sequel is possible, I'd say it's not particularly likely.

Oh and yes, I have read the original report.

This is interesting, there's some recent BD-Boxes for certain titles.
Ikki Tousen - There's BD-Boxes for DD, GG & XX throughout 2014, no subtitles or english dub.
Slam Dunk - No subtitles but if someone licenses the series they could even get the BD rights.
The Tatami Galaxy - No subtitles but it's being released at 16,000 yen ($160).
Tiger & Bunny: The Rising - English Subtitled included. Steelbook version available to pre-order exclusively on Amazon JP.
