Interesting to hear in the podcast that the edict on NTSC DVD release no-nos at Manga come from higher up the food chain.
And like the TV thing, Manga is going to just keep scrubbing the floor and ask everyone to pay no mind to its monkeyshines.

Thank goodness they didn't get KLK, they'd have had that malled by the food chain eldrichs.

Yeah that is interesting, guess it must be a Starz/Anchor Bay corporate policy thing. Tis a shame.

Listening to the podcast, I'm shocked that Jonathan Clements doesn't have a Blu-ray player! Needless to say I object when he says that "Casablanca is not going to be measurably improved by watching it on Blu-ray" :p

Just spotted Sword Art Online is now on Netflix USA with dual audio, great move from AniplexUSA (words I don't use often). I do hope to see Netflix UK's anime selection expand at some point in the future. I'm loving revisiting Pokemon through it.

PLEASE NOTE: ABOVE IMAGE DOES NOT IN ANY WAY REPRESENT A CONCEPT TO THE UK VERSION.

That is gorgeous! Love the image of Ryuuko.

With Animax having Date A Live now, has anyone made the joke about what Date it will go Live?

EDIT: Crunchyroll is live on the US PS Store for Vita. Doubt it will come over here though, due to Animax.

Hello Viz i'm just wondering if you have any plans in bringing more of the Jojo's Bizarre adventure manga ?

VizMedia No announcements on additional Jojo at this point in time. If we do bring more we will make a BIG announcement about it, but nothing for now. However, if you do not have all of the Stardust Crusader arc that we printed in the past we are bringing back out of print volumes back into print.

Fairy Tail the movie has been delayed by THREE months to 28th July and Jormungund volume 1 is now due out two months later on 21st July.
Madman's release of Fairy Tail is going to be NTSC, so taking that and the 3 month delay into account I think it's safe to say that it's been delayed because they need to author a ****** PAL DVD.

Whilst It doesn't affect me, it's going to be pretty ridiculous for Blu-ray fans in the UK if titles keep getting delayed because of this.
They should at least make the Blu-ray release available somehow beforehand rather than holding it back, whether it's exclusively through a retailer or their own shop for example. Hell, that might give people a reason to actually use their shop.

Be right back, gonna go punch the maker of this nonsense in the soul.

And maybe a subsequent karate chop to the throat whilst I'm at it.

I'll give him a "Deeply Mysoginsitc* Power Fantasy"
*Technically speaking It'd be a Deeply Misanthropic Power Fantasy as I'd be displaying hatred for my fellow human beings but f' it.

Here's an idea for you why don't you take it up with the higher-ups at Manga rather than complaining on here about the company. Got to think you might actually get a response then.

I somehow sensed in the most recent volumes that the end was not far off. I sincerely hope that the ending comes as a result of Kosuke Fujishima believing that the OMG! story has run its course, and not as a result of a internal squabbling with the publisher and other such politics like what happened with Ken Akamatsu and Negima.
