WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT. Screw you Funi. I could forgive you for not putting Index and Railgun out on BD because of the whole Geneon thing, but Railgun S? The first Raildex series to actually be animated in HD? (~900p vs 540p)
He was really good as Tiz Arrior in Bravely Default, but I can't see Bryce doing Eren. Hopefully he'll surprise me.Ath said:And Eren's English voice is....Bryce Papenbrook.
Wasn't expecting that, has he ever worked for Funi before? Good choice though, I like his performances as Tiz in Bravely Default and Rin in Blue Exorcist. Hell I even liked him as Asbel in Tales of Graces. Yuuki Kaji's performance in the Japanese version really did surprise me (I usually find him tolerable at best, but I liked him here), but I'm definitely interested to hear Eren in English.
The people at Starz sound like noobs, most definitely. I don't think Jerome is telling lies on the matter of NTSC discs to fool us.Just Passing Through said:Interesting to hear in the podcast that the edict on NTSC DVD release no-nos at Manga come from higher up the food chain.
I like Kin-iro Mosaic, I watched it in Japanese with English Subtitles last october and can say that, under the assumption this is a full second season, I'll be watching this during the season it'll air.NormanicGrav said:
How big is the chance that it'll get included with the second season BD whenever that gets greenlit? It is not that I consider lacking OVAs a dealbreaker, I own Another on BD without episode 0 and don't own Love Hina Again (though I'd like to acquire that). However, if it really is region A only I'll not be able to watch this show through legal means, unless MVM decide to upgrade it to BD as well.NormanicGrav said:Funimation USA Classic Line version of Is This A Zombie? doesn't include the OVA on Blu-ray and also has locked subtitles.
Could this affect Anime Limited's plans to get the first season out this fall?kuuderes_shadow said:Space Dandy is getting a second season this summer (MAL: http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1115575)
A part of me has a dream that Anime Limited shall surprise us with the acquisition of the entire RailDex franchise for BD premium release. It's plausible I think.Mangaranga said:I really wish that the BD Boxes Geneon released in Japan recently had subs considering the poor treatment of the series in English speaking territories.

Oh boy these images looks so good and the characters design are nice too. Its not gonna be "childish" anymore like the original series. At least I didnt like it...
Ufotable is gonna make this one big.
It says on the news that a full trailer of the anime will be available within a few days.

One could say yes as Andrew might not be able to move up the date to his initial projected goal of MCM Comic Con october. And one could say no as we are region B territory.
I haven't made up my mind yet whether I want to watch Space Dandy, but that doesn't forbid me to ponder upon certain questions like that.
Andrew (El Presidente) is going to be at MCM Ireland along with the latest Anime Limited titles and will also be at the Japanese Film Festival Ireland, who else is coming along?
