I'm a bit confused by the news, does this mean Harmony Gold holds the rights to all of Macross, or are they allowing other distributors to get access to Macross II onwards (since the first series is with HG which sparked this whole debacle in the first place)?

According to Justin Sevakis, Sony have ties to HG, which means Funi might be releasing Macross.

Proper theatrical releases for DYRL and Plus would be amazing.
