Interesting that they're splitting up Monogatari second season into the small individual chunks. Suppose it helps keep the arcs separate, but means we'll end up with lots of 4/5 ep individual volumes.

That said, Monogatari as a series really felt like the title that helped re-invigorate MVM and finally push them into the Blu-Ray era, so you can't blame them for pumping it for all it's worth.
 
Kabukimonogatari better not have the high RRP's the rest of the series has as it's going to be a bog standard Blu-Ray and only four episodes.

I'll get Blast of Tempest when it comes to one complete set. No interest in anything else as will be picking up the US version of Samurai Champloo on Blu-Ray as it's much cheaper.

No way it'll stay at that price forever - it was mis-listed by someone at our distributor as £39.99 SRP initially - so it will get a discount for sure I'd imagine. Zavvi et al listing it will have that impact I suspect...I hope anyway!

If you're thinking of Sailor Moon Crystal. I think Bandai and Toei are more in bed than Takeouchi will ever be so it'll probably be out when it's due this time around.

That said if they could make the epilogue of Zero Two not exist that'd be swell.
 
Great to see MVM confirm more Gatari releases. Will be buying them for sure, though saying that there's LOADS I want in Q4 :S

I wonder what they'll do when the movie comes out? (If it ever bloody does) seeing as they don't do Anime films...I don't see it being a title Manga would have, maybe Andrew could release it? Andrew getting hold of it might be a grand idea cause it'd open more windows for the other Gatari releases to gain promotion.

It might retcon Zero Two altogether.
 
The Robotech Academy Kickstarter project has been cancelled after reaching just under $200,000 of their required $500,000 target. 14 people selected the "Enemy Spy" tier, meaning that $28 was donated to the project by people who hated it in the first place.

On a separate note, there's an interesting line from Jonathan Clements in the new issue of NEO saying we're potentially on the verge of another spending spree when it comes to anime, with new players like Netflix helping to drive up the price of shows as everyone gets in on the action.
