So Harmony Gold has introduced a $2 "Enemy Spy" tier, so that haters are allowed to complain as much as they like - while at the same time Harmony Gold gets more money.

Much as I can't see it making any great contribution to their funds, that is sort of genius.

I'm also slightly disappointed that they aren't intending to reuse footage from Macross Frontier, just to carry on the tradition.

They'll just cancel their pledges before it ends.

Brilliant, hahaha. That's exactly what I would like to expect from that Kickstarter, rather than seeing the money increase it's the opposite!

Well what you can do on Kickstarter (if I remember rightly) is once you fund a tier, you can alter the amount you want to pay, so you can give them even more money if you wanted. Plus, on Kickstarter you only pay when the project is funded, and once the project is over. So what you could do is promise to fund the whole thing, and then at the last moment withdraw your donation so you're back to square one. I suspect if you did this however you would probably be in trouble.

So it's not JoJo, it's not Cardcaptor Sakura, it's not the Madoka Movies (as far as I know), it's not the A Certain franchise and it's not Sailor Moon. What could it be? It has to be something that they said would take up a lot of space on the shelf...

Dragon Ball Kai's the only thing left that I can think of. What other big series do we not have in the UK? Unless it's an ultimate edition of a smaller series like Haruhi Suzumiya.

Perhaps it is an older series. A classic from the early days of anime, like a Tezuka, although that would be very unlikely.

Haruhi is in limbo as far as I know (beyond help).

But you probably guessed it right with Dragon Ball Orange Brick/Kai Blu-ray, but who knows it could be something out of the blue like Hunter x Hunter.

Didn't Manga want to go towards the newer shows? Well besides that there's Gatchaman and Tenchi Muyo! which are classic titles.

I'd say that was too much of a gamble if it's a big series. How many people in the UK would have seen these classics?

Could be the new Dragon Ball Z blu rays from Funimation.

Other than something Dragon Ball related the only other option I can think of is Monster.

I hope it's not something to do with DB cause I have little to no interest in the series..

I doubt it is Monster. Viz tried do to release it some time ago but dropped it due to low sales. Shame because it looks good.

Me too. The only thing Dragon Ball Z related I'd want to buy is if they released the Blue Water dubs of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball GT that were on Toonami.

Let me tell you something now......monster doesn't LOOK good............It's a completely 100% fantastic anime which ( in my opinion) is better then death note.

....................Well it is!!!

My money is that it's some podunk TnA show that Manga's callin' a classic and the shelf space is for some dumb boob mousepad or something.

It's that sort of stupid thing Manga would do.

I would buy DBZ Kai on blu-ray, but not the original Z series. I'd also love to see the Z movies on blu-ray, but if its neither then I'm not going to be crying over it. It could be something that I'd want more, so... wait and see, like usual!

It'd be quite sad if this big announcement was just Manga putting out more bloody DBZ sets, especially butchered Blurays. I wouldn't be entirely surprised if it was though saying that.

Nerima Daikon Brothers update when I asked if we're still on for a September release.
We're a bit delayed on that as we're waiting on the extras being sent out on tape here, video looks pretty awesome though!

Again, I don't mind delays when it's for the best. I just want me some more Anime Limited releases :)

I'm really excited for any word on the Escaflowne release.

Wasn't the English dub for Escaflowne only for the Edited version? I'm curious..

I'm looking forward to Nerima since the US release is now OOP by Funimation's S.A.V.E. line.

The original FullMetal Alchemist series?
That's what I was thinking

Is that legit 'big' though? Don't most people consider it far inferior to Brotherhood?

I've heard good things to the filler half since it was approved by the Fullmetal Alchemist creator, but I doubt that the show is the surprise announcement.

Well we have 1 day left to find out what the mysterious title is.

Meanwhile, NTV is broadcasting the first three Evangelion Rebuild movies in August. Fans are speculating there might be news on Evangelion: || at the end of the run.
