You have to admit that's a pretty damn good number
For Toonami it's pretty freaking fantastic and about the best numbers anime's done for it in a long while (though sometimes their metrics are whacky, apparently having 0.3% of viewership for Code Geass when it was punted to the very back of the night was a failure.)animefreak17 said:You have to admit that's a pretty damn good number
- Unlicensed films still looking to acquire; possibly multiple films per release (if licensed)
- Season 6 delayed due to fast-track Film Z: trying to release both at end of September (30th)
- Collection 10 is planned for the next month or two

I can't see that happening considering just how big the show (and the manga) is, but even so - I suppose it's an unavoidable symptom of the UK being so far behind.
The irony is, if only every series came out only 12 months or so after it screened in Japan! I notice Valvrave hasn't been announced for a UK release yet, despite screening at the same time as AOT and Gargantia.

Complaining about Spring last year stuff not having been announced yet?
Can I remind you that Toradora was announced in March, having aired in Japan in Autumn 2008? And they're the lucky ones - Index fans are still (im)patiently waiting for a license for that series which aired during the same season.
And then, of course, there's Dragon Ball. Which came out last week. And started airing halfway through what would nowadays be considered as winter 1986.
That said, I do agree with your point and have argued it myself before - the closer to the airing date they release a series, the more copies it will sell. And the happier the fans will be.
Whilst it was visually prettier, it was worse in pretty much every other way. Four Parts - each part costing almost as much as one of viz's half sets, no extras, 4x BD25s with worse video, no song/sign subs, combo pack and Kaze.Joshawott said:No idea why Tiger & Bunny didn't do well, as our release was far prettier than Viz Media's.
