Thought this was quite interesting as I have never seen it used on a rating description before. Wonder if it's part of their new ratings standards.

Taken from the BBFC website on the rating of Girls Und Panzer:

"glamorous images of weapons"
Can't let the plebs get any stupid ideas about rising arms against their masters.

That rule's probably there for stuff that you can get hold of without too much difficulty. Knives, baseball bats (as weapons), maybe guns... that sort of thing. The point kind of falls apart when the item in question is a tank from WW2...

My point exactly.

But think of the children! What if they get their hands on WW2-era tanks and decide to have tank battles on the school playground?!

Amazon CA/Fandom Post have listed Senran Kagura: NF & Devil is a Part-Timer for August 19th 2014 (a month later).

Anime Ltd Twitter notes:
Gurren Lagann Ultimate Edition notice - "Not super long, Amazon are over 50% sold out already of their allocation. Others have similar strains on stock."
Possible Bebop Ultimate Edition - "Hi! Just the Blu-Rays in an amaray case in this case. We're looking at a "Definitive" edition but that takes time."
They've been looking at Planetes - "Funny you should ask... We /were/ just looking at that and saying how we'd LOVE to do something...who knows."

Guys, if you wanted the Heaven's Lost Property Classic Line release then be prepared for this:

WHAT THE HELL FUNIMATION?

Is that a blue piece of paper stuck to the top of the DVD case? ugh...

EDIT:
Oh no, it's a Blu-Ray sized slipcover on a DVD case? LOL.

Did the original Heaven's Lost Property release come in a DVD case? I remember Funimation used to be a little indecisive when it came to packaging their DVD/BD combo releases.

The first season was DVD size (it was the standard for both formats until about sometime in 2012). Baka & Test Season 1 is another example of using DVD sized case and packaging.

Thanks for the info, the only releases I have from that era are Chaos;Head and Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom, which did come in DVD sized cases. With this re-release of Heaven's Lost Property, I wonder if they intended to switch over to a BD case, but had left over stock from the initial release that they didn't want to destroy.

Fairy Tail also uses DVD sized packaging. Blu-rays in DVD cases annoys me so much. Even Aniplex's Madoka LEs used them.
I'd be tempted to give Aniplex the benefit of the doubt with Madoka. Packing the bonus items (posters, postcards, etc.) into a smaller artbox may have been more hassle than it was worth.

Why do BluRays in DVD cases annoy you so much? I could understand if season 1 was in a DVD sized case then season 2 in a BluRay case, but as long as they're all the same, surely it doesn't make much difference?

It looks wrong on the shelf. Loads of Blu-ray cases next to each other and then a DVD size case.

Whilst the dub for Index was at least somewhat passable, the dub for Railgun was absolutely horrific so I highly doubt I'll give Funimation another chance with S.
Kuroko in particular was horribly miscast, and I hate Brittney Karbowski as Misaka, but then again I can't really imagine anyone matching their Japanese VA's.

As much as I love Raildex there's no way I'm going to buy the first HD season of the franchise on DVD - especially with a worthless dub.

I remember hearing Kuroko's voice in a preview and....yeah, it'd be a show I'd watch subtitled too.
