So to sum it up, the blu-ray version of the release has been delayed so that it can be released with a dub in a DVD/BD combi-pack. Hopefully they'll announce what's included to make it a "premium edition" though.
Give me good video rather than Sentai's usual crap and I'll bite. Heck, I'd probably buy it if they gave me the option to watch with white subtitles.

Just wait and see for now, Bebop will be having replacements sent out soon so you'll be able to get an idea on the form for Durarara.

Wait, did I miss this, been waiting ages to find out how it was going to work

@animefreak17 - You don't need to send it out yet. Someone will most likely post here once All the Anime releases the form.

Referring to the form? To quote their Facebook - "When we're nearer the time for the reissue, we'll make the forms available. Keep an eye out for announcements nearer June for this.".

Haven't missed them just yet. :)

Good good, been thinking it'd gone really quiet on the bebop replacements, I know it'll be posted here sooner or later but suddenly everyone's talking like they've submitted their required docs and are just waiting for the print run.

So, DRRR news and ChuNiNews. Lets' comment!
My reaction to this news can be compared to the following clip. (from 13m11s in case somebody is on a mobile and can't open links with time indicators)
Some notes with the clip: The lightning/kill is a metaphor for the news striking me/us, "pig" is also a metaphor & Horsetamer = Dub-haters. (So yeah, apologize my language there)

WOW! Really... I'm still rather speechless. I love this news. BOOM!

The best news regarding this that could follow is that Anime Limited own this title and will be giving it the premium treatment as well.
But I'll be honest, if this turns out to be a region A+B release and no premium release is announced for UK I MIGHT be weak. ^_~

Anime Limited are reauthoring the Durarara Blu-Ray discs to get round the errors and add a signs track. Not too sure what the plan is for people who have already bought the stuff

http://www.alltheanime.com/durarara-re-authoring/
My plan was to watch this dubbed starting this wednesday, now a signs-track has been announced I think I'm forced to delay my watch-through until I get the replacement discs assuming Anime Ltd will be willing to ship them overseas (Belgium).
Quite noticeable though is that I haven't seen Andrew or Kerry reply to any overseas customers on the matter of the replacement discs.

What am I bitching? Damn, boy. It takes some good nerves to decide to re-author a release completely and fix something that wasn't your fault to begin with.
The things I hope to see are white subtitles for any subtracks and that the menu (if possible) is called "disc 1, "disc 2, "disc 3" and "disc 4" instead of "Part 1 Disc 1" etc.

@Mr_Lolly_Pops We have some announcements up our sleeves. MCM should be interesting in May ;)
Look, with all the extremely good and extremely bad news lately I don't know whether I can take building up anticipation for MCM May. xD =P
I hope you guys at Anime Limited are at least going to post teasers so we can guess some announcements in April and May. =P

PS to all: I apologize for my over-excitement for some news pieces. (Also, don't judge!)

If you sent them a PM about the subject I'm sure they will happily reply, I imagine they are trying to cover themselves as they aren't 'suppose' to sell their releases overseas.

Changes on MVM dates:

- Girls und Panzer Complete Collection BD delayed to 28th April
- Fate/Zero Part 1 BD delayed to 12th May
- Ikki Tousen: Great Guardians delayed to 12th May
- Hakuoki OVA Collection move forward to 5th May

I'm yet to buy a UK release this calendar year. All three I want have now been delayed :-D

Not a complaint - these things happen and I'm not short of stuff to watch in the meantime - just an observation.

I can't say how impressed I am that Anime Limited are going to be fixing the issues with Durarara. It's the right thing to do, but it's a big undertaking, and for issues they had no control over.

White subtitles of about half the size of the gargantuan yellow ones would be nice. I wonder how feasible it would be to include subtitle tracks of a different colour and/or size on a disc. Anyway, I'm watching Chunibyou on Animax (forgot to cancel my trial ^_^;) and quite like it so I'd be interested in seeing what Sentai come up with for an LE.

Rurouni Kenshin VIZBIGs (particularly Volumes 1 and 6) are coming back:
When will you release the 1 and 6 vizbig reprints of rurouni kenshin manga series?

VizMedia They should be arriving within the week. We'll be sure to let you all know when they arrive in our warehouse via Facebook and Twitter. Thanks for your patience!
And so are the Dragon Ball VIZBIGs:
Hey guys, I know this probably has been asked before, but I can't find it on your page. Are there plans for reprints of BIG editions of Dragonball and Dragonball Z volumes that are missing?

VizMedia Yup! The reprints have been on a boat for the past few weeks and should be arriving here within the next week. Thanks for your patience!
And Slam Dunk, note that 3-in-1's aren't planned:
Hi VIZ, I was just wondering if you are planning to release the slam dunk manga again. I would love to see some of the out of print volumes be printed again.

VizMedia Hi John. We actually just called reprints for all of the out of print volumes. We'll be sure to let you all know when they are all available via Facebook and Twitter.

VizMedia We hope you enjoy! Go ahead and buy the single volume editions. At this point in time we have no plans to release a 3-in-1 edition of Slam Dunk, but we have called reprints for all missing volumes. The whole series should be available in the next two months.
As well as Shaman King volume 17 and certain volumes to Reborn! (note only the titles released, series won't continue at this point):
Please reprint shaman king vol 17, reborn vol 9, 14, and 16.

VizMedia We just called a reprint for Shaman King, Vol. 17 and Reborn, Vol. 9. We'll probably call Reborn, Vols. 14 and 16 soon.

VizMedia Thank you for buying the volumes that we have previously released and for supporting the series. At this point in time we do not have plans to continue publishing volumes of Reborn. We apologize for this and can hopefully continue the series that you started sometime in the future.
Regarding Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist, reprints aren't planned at this point for certain dead volumes like 23.
VizMedia We do not have a reprint for YGO: Duelist at this point in time. There is a chance that a reprint for this title may happen in the future, but for now there are other Shonen Jump reprints on the horizon.
Eyeshield 21 is not planned for reprinting, but Case Closed is:
VizMedia There is a good chance that Eyeshield 21 volumes that were out of stock can come back into print, but for the time being there are other older series that we are focusing on reprinting. We just brought back out of stock volumes of I"s by Masakazu Katsura and are bringing back Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders, Slam Dunk and Case Closed in the near future. Hopefully Eyeshield 21 will be part of another batch, but no news at this point in time.
And above all, an interesting note on the VIZBIGs and 3-in-1 sets:
VizMedia We have not completely abandoned the VIZBIG edition. The X 3-in-1s and the Evangelion 3-in-1s that we released in the past few years are more or less VIZBIG editions because of their trim size, paper quality and color pages. We carefully choose which series get the premium treatment and which get the VIZBIG treatment. For mainstream series such as Naruto, Bleach and Fullmetal Alchemist, we felt it would be best to release them as value 3-in-1s so that casual fans who may not be as willing to shell out money for a big manga collection can still enjoy these series.

As for the 3-in-1s, as you may have noticed the paper quality is thinner and not quite as nice of an offering as our VIZBIG editions. The 3-in-1s are meant to be a value product, one that saves fans money and shelf space, whereas the VIZBIG editions are supposed to be more of premium items.

For anyone interested. If you order Fate/Zero Part 1 from Eye On Asia, you get a Saber charm with it.

Hmm, not too bad, those seem to be going for £5-£10 if you wanted to pick one off ebay.

I initially thought they were offering DvD only but they have a selector box for format

I'm still going to be torrenting Ping-Pong

That is possibly the most bizarre territory list I've seen from CR. I wonder who's sitting on the UK streaming rights as neither Wakanim nor Animax have announced it...

Yeah, especially for The Irregular at Magic High School... :/ Do you think the French Wakanim website may have something to do with this? Or is Aniplex just holding out on us?

The French Wakanim has both these series - http://www.wakanim.tv

No comment, this came out of nowhere like Is This A Zombie did.

(also slightly off topic but I'll update the streaming line up thread later today, been a bit busy  )

Regions and Specifications are not up on Funimation's site.

The "Ninja Flash" suffix to Senran Kagura feels weird. They could have at least went with "Skirting Shadows", which is y'know, actually the subtitle of one of the games that the anime's story adapts. Is there any word on if it's subtitle-only (like the game) or if FUNi are dubbing it?

EDIT: Amazon Canada lists it with English audio. Could just be a placeholder though, as they don't list a Japanese track.
