According to Toei's website, Manga has the rights to not just GT, but to original Dragon Ball as well.

Manga have yet to comment, but it's straight from the source so it seems legit.

Seriously though, this news has been out for a couple of days now - WHY has nobody said anything about it?

Ath posted about it 2 pages back.

To be fair - we received the video only on the day of supposed broadcast and the US were unable to create the subtitles until very late in the night (around 0300 GMT if curious) - which is why the delay.

We're as good as the licensor providing material and in Space Dandy's case I have a huge chunk of assets already for the first episode(s) so I'd not be too concerned folks :).

Best,

AP
OK, that's a bit more reassuring, cheers for the update Andrew. I will give Wakanim a second chance with Space Dandy (if that's the only streaming platform it'll be available on).

Wow, that's a fantastic price. But gutted that I got mine when it first came out now lol

Prices can drop or skyrocket on figures, so I'd not be too worried.

If proof were needed for this post, the price is now £74.99

Lol, perhaps someone who frequents this forum snagged a bargain and once that's out of stock it'll jump to the next cheapest seller (expensive as they may be) :)

Speaking of figures, United Publications seem to have a pretty good deal on up upcoming Shinobu figure from Nisemonogatari, http://www.up1.co.uk/Details/N1559-Nise ... monogatari

Their price seems to only slightly more than buying it direct from Japan but without the customs hit. I was going to order it from a site that had it pre-order discounted from £90 to £60 odd, but you can't argue with £45.

MangaUK have announced in their podcast that HighSchool DxD is due out on DVD/BD next year as a sub-license from FUNi. There are also apparently two more announcements hidden in the podcast that I'm trying to find (that aren't mentioned on the break down).

Hell yes.

EDIT: Listening to it more:
- Plans for limited theatrical screenings for Evangelion 3.33.
- The Devil is a Part-Timer licensed for DVD/BD.
- Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero licensed. No formats yet.

Well I took the safe route for this title, it was bound to appear in the UK at some point (and why haven't they picked up Haganai & Heaven't Lost Property yet? Those would get sales here).

It's obvious one of them is Dragon Ball... maybe not.

Still Aesthetica was a poor choice. People have criticised this show to be a bit rapey in contrast to other ecchi/harem shows.

MangaUK also said that new Code Geass will come out in the New Year. Also, a Tiger & Bunny didn't sell too well, but box-sets might be out in the New Year. I do agree that the title has let it down.

Titles will come on iTunes once the final volume is out, so Sword Art Online will on 31st March.

EDIT: OOOO. Apparently it's now cheaper for MangaUK to release titles on blu-ray compared to America, because a lot of PAL territories are now switching to NTSC DVDs.

I just heard that, thank god. NTSCs basically mean we don't have to worry about PAL speed up and decrease chances of defects especially with subbed only releases. If they release the UK DVDs in NTSC then I may consider buying the UK versions.

If I remember correctly though, MangaUK previously said that they hit a roadblock when looking into releasing NTSC DVDs here. So I doubt we'll see NTSC DVDs, but basically, everyone should buy Blu-rays players.

Emm... okay.

The Devil is a Part-Timer licensed for DVD/BD.
Woooo!

May have to buy it at some point given i've started watching the series on Animax.

Does anyone know if the Eva 3.33 release will include the God Warrior short? I really want to see that, as apparently it relates to the movie in a big way. Hope there aren’t any licensing issues.

I do wonder if the BBFC will even give HighSchool DxD a certificate, or whether Asia and Koneko will push it into the "Dangerous publications" box.

If Dance in the Vampire Bund and Strike Witches can get away with it then I'll assure you DxD will be fine with a 15 rating (or maybe 18 just to play it safe), unless they have the specials then we're going to get a IT:DD situation.

I dunno, the context in DxD is a lot more sexualised than the other two. My personal guess (and hope) would be an uncut 18, but the BBFC can be so random with some of their ratings at times.

Funimation's 12th day is as follows:
- They now have the license for the live action Space Battleship Yamato movie and will be releasing the film in 2014. Manga UK have already released this movie here on both formats.
- Noragami will be part of Funimation's Winter 2014 stimulcast alongside Space Dandy. Don't expect Noragami to appear available in the UK if Crunchyroll gets the rights as well.
- There will be three more announcements in the next few days.

Just to summarise the previous 12 Days announcements:
- They now own the license to A Certain Magical Index II (Season 2 to Index) and A Certain Magical Index Movie.
- They also have the home rights to Devil Is a Part-Timer!, Hetalia: The Beautiful World and Senran Kagura. Manga UK also have the rights to Part-Timer! as Josh stated.
- Cast list for Psycho Pass have been revealed.
