I'd rather have them release everything that they have already got the license to, even if it's low quality, than just leave it in limbo on the off chance that someone else might rescue it some day.

I'm pretty sure it was always been geolocked since around June. The series page only shows the Gundam series, Monogatari series, the three summer Aniplex titles and Tennis.

1 title has definitely vanished since the last time I visited a few days ago, and SAO is the only one I can think of.

I agree, there's nothing worse than a license in limbo. Of course Kaze also have the rights to Bakuman 2, and I still hope they will release this with properly done subtitles (wishful thinking, I know).
This would also suggest that Persona and Code Geass supplies will be replenished in the new year, as suggested on the MangaUK twitters.

How is Strike Witches on blu-ray compared to MangaUK's DVDs? Because those S.A.V.E. editions might tempt me to double dip.

In regards to Kazé, I know this was a remnant of the MangaUK days, but how bloody hard is it for them to have matching covers for Bleach? Seasons 1-4 were fine, then MangaUK release season 5 with a weird red design and then Kazé go with their own when they take over. Also, let's not mention the fact that beyond the first print run, the awesome boxes get replaced with bloody amaray cases. I'm tempted to sell my first print run copies of seasons 1-3, 5 and 7 just so I can have something that matches.

Emo (of Anime Blu-ray) did an unboxing for Strike Witches, he had this to say:
Since this release of Strike Witches is a SD (Standard Definition) Remaster and not a dedicated HD (High Definition) release the picture quality isn’t as great as other Blu-rays, however the quality is still far superior to that of the standard DVD.

I'm going to try and pick up the original versions before xmas if I get enough spare cash. I like the look of the box.

The difference between anime companies in the UK:
Kazé UK: This is delayed, live with it.
MVM: This is delayed because reasons.
Anime Ltd: This is delayed because [X], [Y] and [Z]. We're sorry, we hate it too, but we want to ensure the best product.
