So, from what I'm reading, Manga will eventually be releasing Fairy Tail on Blu Ray? Have they confirmed this?
They're thinking about it.
Nothing has been confirmed yet (although considering how Manga deals with BD releases, they'll drop it after a few volumes because it isn't selling enough).
Or someone looked at them funny.

Oh. good. the one book store that doesn't allow turn with volume buttons on Android (or much of any control whatsoever on Android). Sigh.

The video has been removed (amazingly for nudity or sexual content, despite not actually containing either), but I was loving the preview for the anime Wanna Be The Strongest In The World. Sexy ladies and wrestling, a perfect combination, actually puts me in mind of a particular, ahem, website I enjoy.

Someone was kind enough to reupload it.

Could be a fun show, bonus points since they seem to use actual wrestling holds.

Have you even tried the nook app? It's unusable as a comic viewer.

And Viz are masters of falling at the last hurdle. Kaze; qed.

I'll kindly recend the criticism when they stop being stupid about things but that's no time soon. I dunno if doing things as awkwardly as possible is what gets thier rocks off but they seem content to screw off and if I'm a miserable bastard for calling them out for it then fine.

Rather a Miserable Bastard than an enabler.

Reading around it seems some have already decided it's the work of the devil just on the trailer alone.

She's being put in either a Scorpion Deathlock or a Half Boston Crab, so yeah the wrestling action looks well-researched and authentic.

I'd say half boston looking at the angle at 1:16 in the video. I'm going to assume that it's going to be totally kayfabe, which is kind of a shame as I personally think there's great potential for a show (anime or live action) based around wrestling looking at all the stuff that goes on behind the scenes and some of the absolute mentalists that get into the industry. I actually started to write something like that once, "To The Back!" I called it.

That trailer wasn't particularly subtle, big busted girls grappling with each other. I suspect most prefer their sports Anime a little more wholesome

The big news from Otakon from Sentai Filmworks: Sub-only Blu-Ray releases! (Source: Twitter & Fandompost)
In December three anime will get said treatment: "Pet Girl of Sakurasou", "So, I Can’t Play H" & "Humanity Has Declined".

Other December releases which will get a dub and a blu-ray release are "BTOOOM!", "Girls und Panzer", "Kokoro Connect OVA" & "Say 'I Love You'".
And the remaining two releases from Sentai in December are "DiGiCharat OVAs" (SUB-only dvd) & "Magical Play" (dvd).

I personally am very disappointed in Sentai's decision to go sub-only for Pet Girl of Sakurasou. I honestly do think it's a great move of Sentai to do sub-only blu-ray releases, don't get me wrong. I think sub-fans definitely deserve blu-rays of their favourite shows (But I expect locked subtitles, it seems inevitable to me on sub-only Blu-Rays). But I think Pet Girl of Sakurasou as a "sub-only" release is a huge mistake.

PS: I heard on Twitter from somebody who attended AX (Anime eXpo) it was never confirmed Chuunibyou would get dubbed, only a dvd+blu-ray was announced, so I'm hoping Sentai dub that.
PPS: I think today is one of the worst days I had this year in terms of news. This probably means I'll probably not watch PGoS until Sentai releases a complete collection hoping that one will be dubbed.

Wait, so Kokoro Connect's release in October won't include the OVAs and they will be released separately? But there are only 4 OVA episodes.

I personally wouldn't mind if Chunibyo doesn't get dubbed, because blu-ray.

Hurrah, finally niche shows won't be condemned to DVD-only releases.

It is a bit weird that Say "I Love You" is getting a dub when two shows I'd expect to appeal to a slightly wider audience aren't. I guess streaming figures are the reason.

Oh F Yeah. Sakurasou getting a Bluray release, or should I say Sentai actually doing sub Bluray releases. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Kyoani works like Hyouka and Chuunibyou were released that way.
Hopefully Sentai will sort their friggin Video and Subtitle issues out now. I seem to recall that they recently claimed to be stepping up their QC.

In other news, Viz will be releasing the first set of Accel World and Zetman in November. I'm torn whether or not to import the Japanese release of Accel World now. I know SOMETHING will be wrong with Viz's release, like 1080i video for example, and I really like the show enough to get the Japanese release of it. Viz's covers are also MVM bad.

I asked Sentai on FaceBook about a Chunibyo dub and they said to cross your fingers, with their social media guy saying that if it was up to them, it'd be instant dub.

I'm just a bit worried about how quickly and how much Sentai is shoving out. I know they claim to be stepping up their QC, but Surely this is going to result in more defective releases, whether it's errors on their part, or craptastic video due to being supplied nerfed masters as we saw earlier this year. Neither Little Busters nor Little Busters have finished their Japanese releases to my knowledge, yet they are due to be released in November and December respectively. I wonder what the Licensors think about this.
