The News Thread (for news that does not need a thread)

Apparently, one of the MVM licenses is one that MangaUK were asked about during the Manchester panel and is one they have been repeatedly asked about. Source.

EDIT:
Looking up the MangaUK podcast, it seems people missed that the K-ON! movie release will come with an Oyster card holder.

EDIT:
It's Fate/Zero

Damn it...I guessed it, but not the hint to it (among my various attempts to make Index fit). Damn it xD

Amazon's blurb says "Includes bonus Oyster Card Holder exclusive to the UK! Special features include: Interviews, K-On's Anniversary, 1-2-3 K-ON! Live Event, K-On in London, Trailer and Teaser collection"
I was sure I'd heard about the oyster card somewhere before.

I buy things just for the advance tickets to special events and movie screenings in Tokyo that I'll never attend. "Pointless" is all very relative :p

There was talk in a previous podcast about them speaking to TBS about the possibility of having them as a Comic Con exclusive iirc.

I'm so glad that I waited for their release now (I imported season 2 from America due to it being on blu-ray). I don't live in London, but I do have an Oyster card for whenever I do go up there for events, or to visit my brother. My Oyster Card is the limited edition London 2012 one too =3.

True. I have bought my share of pointless things in the past. Like a cigarette case despite the fact that I don't smoke.

Anyway, to avoid having an off-topic thread about pointless things you buy with my name on it, Satou Junichi announced a new anime which looks pretty moe. And when I say moe, I mean the other moe.

Note to Rui - This is the kind of fear you engender when you break off conversations about feet into their own thread:

I was somewhat disappointed when I clicked on the link that it was not Simpson's Moe or something resembling him
