It seems Nozomi have been on a licensing binge and grabbed Cat's Eye

Came here to post this. Seems a bit of a left-field choice, but I'll probably pick it up when it comes out. I always did like Tsukasa Hojo's artwork.

America, France and Canada are getting screenings of the last Madoka movie in 2013, with France confirmed for 16th November.

Come on UK screening...come on.

EDIT:
Crunchyroll have tweeted than an app is coming to the Vita.

And, no doubt, aniplex will make it avaible in this incedible offer;

Also Kodansha are speeding up the releases of "Attack on Titan", starting in August.

Also mentioned is Digital Manga sales which, providing AoT isn't one of the titles to be region locked, will probably see them some decent sales, I'd imagine.

Maaaan I remember ReBoot, I never watched more than a few episodes but the animation blew my mind as a kid. I hear the story got pretty damn good though.

I wonder if Kadokawa are going to use Funi's BD upscales or if they're going to do their own?

Basically what I'm trying to say is that I want another season of Full Metal Panic.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for SLA. If France gets it November it's not unreasonable SLA could show it in October.

EDIT: Just realised it's not even out in Japan until 26th of October, oh well. :(

In some good news, seems like a 2nd season of Psycho Pass is on its way.

For some reason I'm thinking those were not subtitled on the original BD box set, so that might explain why they are missing.

And, of course, nothing on the Android situation.

Kazé and Viz Media preorders rounded up and canceled. If they don't want my money that badly then they can not have my money all they want.

They might, if it wasn't animated by Gonzo/Kyoto Animation and owned by Kadokawa.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present "cutting your nose off to spite your face".
I mean, of course Viz Media US are going to announce at a US con information about the android version of the UK app a mere two days after Via Media UK said there was no timescale.

Geez lay off the "companies don't want my money" thing. We get it, you don't like the UK anime industry at all. If thats the case why do you even post on here anyway

I am more interested in when Viz will release the fourteenth and final volume of the Neon Genesis Evangelion manga, which incidentally concluded last month. I do suspect that the release date will coincide with whatever date Funimation releases Evangelion 3.33 on blu-ray. So that's two Day One purchases for 2014 then.

For the time being though, I'm content to amuse myself at the series of conniptions that they are giving to Conan.

Rightstuf's most recent announcement:

Anime Expo 2013: New License and Project Announcements

GRIMES, Iowa, July 5, 2013 – Anime producer and distributor Right Stuf, Inc. made several announcements during its July 5th panel at Anime Expo 2013 in Los Angeles, California. Right Stuf President and CEO Shawne Kleckner revealed new anime licenses for both Nozomi and Lucky Penny Entertainment. CAT’S EYE was the newest title announced to receive the special Nozomi Entertainment limited-edition treatment. Nozomi also provided new details about its current video and print projects, including the upcoming limited-edition releases of PRINCESS KNIGHT and SPACE ADVENTURE COBRA. The Lucky Penny Entertainment label announced licenses for PRINCESS NINE, SENGOKU COLLECTION (PARALLEL UNIVERSE SAMURAI) and BLESSINGS OF THE CAMPANELLA. Right Stuf, Inc. also announced the production of HETALIA graphic novels 4 & 5 and discussed the upcoming releases for MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM UC.

Put me down for Cat's Eye, and here's hoping they can license Sei Jushi Bismark, uncut and in Japanese, for their next retro release.

If you want to get Baccano on Blu-ray, and I highly recommend it... Now's the time, as Aniplex won't be printing anymore.

As soon as I found this out, I ordered it from UP1 instantly. For £40 it's not bad considering Baccano! is one of the best anime shows I've watched and is worth watching even on Blu-ray (It's one of the better upscaled shows I hear).

Ok, hands in the air on this one, I wasn't thinking straight between the weather (It's hot as balls up in glasgow) I got that wrong, my bad.

However...

So, when I suddenly decide that Viz are not all that, as people have been quick to tell me, you then decide "Uhgh, gezz guy, lay off, they're doing thier best."

Bugger the whole lot of you and the collective horses you rode in on. I'd apologize that I'm not happy that Viz have buggered around for two years and finaly when they come close to getting it right, they not only fall at the last hurdle but somehow break every bone in their body doing so but clearly, you're not in the mood to be the better (wo?)man, just right about everything so I'm not going to bother.

But whatever, whatever position I take clearly what is not right so I'm not going to buggering well try anymore. I'm done playing anywhere close to the "good guy" for you lot. I'm done being reasonable.
