The General Conversation Area

That'll be good if she gets into uni nearby then, hope she gets the place she wants :)
Nurseries take babies from birth now, Bella's six months. I decided to come back to work at the end of my maternity leave, so she had to go off to nusery, they wouldn't let me put her in a box under my desk :(

And hello Arbalest, still keeping things under control round here?

That’s guys, and Panda :) *Beats Voddas over the head with a bottle of mars milkshake* don't pay attention to him, he's got concusion.

That sucks Panda, if you dress her up like a sunflower you can sit her on you desk, claim she's a flowerbaby lol. It might work on the cute factor alone.

Hey that's not a bad idea, not that she'd sit still for very long though. I was just thinking last night of all the cute cosplays I could make for her. I want to take her to the Expo in May and dress her up as something like a mokona or a pikachu

Afternoon folks.

Congrats on the wedding plans Tachi. Hope kayls gets to go to a local uni.

:thumb:

it won't be for a while yet, but hopefully the saving we'll be doing now will cover it all :)

Please no messages on facebook, its stayin quiet for now

@Panda: yeah trying too, Ryo is a hard one to keep under control, but it's quite calm around here now. Gives me more time to deal with the flats and such without worrying if Ryo makes a mess, hah.

Tach and everyone else know not to get on me bad side anyways ;p

Well after a very busy afternoon I'm off home soon. It was nice to speak to everyone again :) be back on Monday :)
Congrats again Tach I'm so happy for you!

According to Monster, my CV has now been looked at by a single prospective employee! They obviously paid no attention to it, but beggars can't be choosers.

Stuart, are there any other local schools who'd let you study the subject as an intercollegiate student? Back when I was doing my A-levels, I had to take physics at another school due to its unavailability in my own institution.

(Having now studied it at degree level, I can understand why the subject is so unpopular.)

Congrats, Tach! Have your first wedding dance to Caramell Dansen! You know you want to. ;)

Haha! Thats great, if everyone from AUKN turned up and we all got in a line and did the dance, that'd be the funniest wedding ever.

Thanks, i have more news too. Kayls text me this morning, she's got into Northampton Uni, so this time next year well be looking for a home together.... Lifes moving so quick!!! Only feels like a short while ago that i was turning 18 and legally drinking, i'm 20 in 3 months. Talking houses and weddings...

just came back with my results:

History- C
Biology- E
Music- D
Chemistry- U

i'm not too worried about Biology, i can just retake the exam i did weakest on :), History and Chemistry is about what i expected, Music i was slightly suprised about, but was comforted to know that everyone else who took music also got a D, best grind down and get a higher grade in A2!

not too worried, if it ended disastrous i might of reacted like this (at around about 30 seconds in  )

Already married here. ^_^ Expensive stuff, but worth it in the end.
Doesn't have to be. I don't ever intend to marry (not that I wouldn't be committed, I just don't see the point) but if I did it would be a quick Nevada job with minimum fuss and outlay. And the only kind of woman I would consider marrying would be one who wanted the same thing.

Still, congratulations to all those who do believe in the institution of marriage. May you be very happy. :)

Nice one Memo, are you going off to uni or taking a gap year?

@Ayase: Kayls parents aren't married, mine are, There's nothing different between them really, just a piece of paper saying my parents are married and things.

So i see where your coming from, its a expensive thing....but in some respets its a great life experience.

Instead of doing a bunch of resits and grinding, maybe you should consider retaking Y12? Colleges and so on are open too. I only say this cause i'm considering quitting my A levels. The competition to get into Uni, and the sheer mass of degrees, many employers are looking for something different, or those with working experience.

Just remember there are other options than Uni, yeah? I'd hate it if you're like most people in my year who think you have to go to Uni. Good luck man, and well done.

this is my AS no uni's and whatnot for another year!

@ Stuart: Uni is an option i'm considering, but i have a priority for specialist colleges, such as Dbs & SAE (Sound Engineering, Producing etc) or BIMM (Performing/Composition) over Uni's, i think if i go to a specialist college i get more of what i'm looking for in terms of facilities
