Work sucks. I'm the Tech Lead equivalent on my team confirmed by the fact in our Managers hand over meeting she's having just me and her other teams tech lead attend. Tech Leads get thousands more in wage than me so I'm not happy.

Doesn't seem like anything will be done about it either. Joy. If this isn't reflected in my end of year appraisal I'll be job hunting again. Joy.
 
I'm getting a bit fed up of having to dig other people out of Sage related sh*t, and not getting any thanks from it.

Although I have decided to stick with the job until I finish my degree, then I can start looking around for other job roles, although a part of me is thinking is it just worth cutting away and moving away from this area to start afresh
 
Although it's the first time buying stuff from Amazon for a fair while, just to clear out some gift certificates, got some cheap CDs from my large wishlist, some of which had been on there since August 13!
 
Remember a few weeks ago when I said I got spam in the post, well it happened again this time it was a card asking me to "meet up" and give said person a "second chance" but I haven't seen the person before in my life and they also sent cologne from next, I had to pick this up from the local PO so I binned it straight away, but I am getting worried now. I thought it might have been a one off. Same as before no surname anywhere just my first and my address. What do I do? This is an unorthodox way of spamming for sure. I thought it might have been a prank since I had some bad blood with people after I left 6th form but that was 3 years ago so I doubt it is.

Have you told the local police? If it happens again you might as well get them to arrest whoever is stalking you.

I remember you said your neighbours had the same sort of issue correct?

Have you told the local police? If it happens again you might as well get them to arrest whoever is stalking you.

No, neighbours don't (at least I am not aware of). The police aren't helpful they said there isn't anything they can do and to contact them again if it happened so I did just wanting on a response back but it'd probably be something similar, I did bin the package I am thinking maybe I should have kept it as evidence or something. Argh! This whole situation is bugging me!
 
Looks like I will be keeping my car insurance with Aviva, they want £248 for the year, the best I can come up with after comparing a few comparison sites (and going direct to a couple which are offering cash-back) is £245 [£275 with £30 cash-back] and frankly to potentially save £3, it isn't worth the hassle changing over (if that makes sense)

3 weeks to go until I'm in the air heading east :)

One of those daft 'enter your name' type things, that tells you who will produce the anime adaptation of your life and what it will be about. It may have been around a while now, but I saw Reevo tweet it earlier on and got a bit of a laugh out of it

Apparently, I will receive a 22 episode hentai series from Ufotable about my becoming a god. Unsure if I am prepared for that.
