Thanks for the offers of help guys :) Chaos I would be intrested but at the moment I'm not able to relocate.

Tach@ All depends on what kind of sprites you make for me :p

RivaOni, I'm using XNA at the moment, love it to pieces first real time that i've taken to a programming language. I know C# has its limits but i find it easier to use.

Belated Congratulations Arby, you deserved to pass with the work you put in :)

EDIT: Maxon, a lot of the software engineering jobs I've seen have been very annoying and asked for experince or asking for things that wasn't taught in uni...Which has had me questioning the point in the degree I did.

Well, give me a storyline and i'll create some sprite characters that maybe what your looking for.

People in this office aren't making my day any better,

its dragging alot today.
i've got a headache.
the radio gets changed over at 13.00 everyday, from heart radio to radio 1.

I change it over. and the dopey bitch in this office comes back from lunch and changes it back.

sick of this. unplugging the ******* thing.

Back in work today.

Was able to get 20 minutes sleep from monday to tuesday, the headache intensified and i ended up being off work yesterday as a result of fatigue.

Due to plans that where cancelled over the weekend (parent's cancelled our plans to go see family friends in london, as friends wheren't back from uni yet and the gf was at her friends uni in sheffield i was left with no plans) i spent the majority of the weekend at home.... which threw the balance right out the window... Giving my cow of a mother the chance to stir up an argument... needless to say tensions are high right now.

On another note, i've been looking into my workout at the gym and watching videos on youtube i've learnt about the afterburn affect, which basically pushes your metabolism to the limits - resulting in the 48 hours after an intense but quick workout being used to burn through the calories even though your not working out (metabolism handles most of it and breaks down any fat to use as energy to keep going)

But anyway, Sony have very nicely reset my account so i'll be able to enjoy the psn again. and its wednesday so i'm looking forward to going for an indian with the gf tonight :)

Better day today, looks like the closer to the weekend things get, the better things are going at home..... the part that i spent lastnight with kayls, Lora and Dean (kayls sister and her bf) in an indian meant the restoration of balance is coming back into play.

Hopefully by this evening everythings alright again.

On another note, 4 weeks and a few days till i'm off to egypt :) Can't wait!!!

Your off to egypt again? You must really like it there :p I'm off to wales next week to visit the folks in a place I can't spell or pronounce properly...

About the sprites thing I'll see what I can come up with and get back to you oh and I should be passing along a story for you to read next week. Though I don't know which email address I should send it to.

Yeah i go for the weather, the gf and the other 2 have never been before so they want to go see the pyramids (why not lol going all that way and not seeing them would be crazy)

Oh, you've said it now... spyro will hunt you down :p

Alright, just lemme know. and the email address is my msn one

..................................(should be here) V

Lol true, though all I know about the place we're going to is that it's 8 hours on a train, transferring in two places. It's going to be bliss /sarcasm

Got my finacee's bday bbq before that though, that's going to be a fun night with the people going, like welkin who downed a pint bottle of Jack Daniels in seven seconds flat...straight, and still wanted more.

Hah, sounds like you'll enjoy it as much as i enjoy living with my rents still :p atleast you've generally got the freedom to live just the two of you.

I now have very high respect for Welkin. (already respected him anyway but thats impressive) i can do that with straight irish whiskey and i plan to this weekend, irish family are over this weekend to see us.

Well the plan i've had going for about 6 months now has worked :) i'd already put on 3 stone since high school, i was only 8 stone at 16, now going on 21 i'm 11 stone, 2 stone of that was within a year of going to the gym and now i've put on weight (fat lol) which is bloody hard to do with my metabolism i've decided to start Afterburn training to push metabolism to the highest and build the half stone of flab into muscle.

Gotta say, its really worked! I seem to be hungry all the time now. even though i'm averaging over 2000 cals everyday minimum. Litres of water/pints of beer/fanta also lol. Apparently metabolism plays a great part in breaking down the alcohol therefore preventing any hangovers.... after the weekend i'll let you know if thats true or not lol.

If welkin was anyone else he would of ended up in hospital, we're still advising against a repeat perfromance, he's too good a friend to lose like that.

Some times I wonder if i should hit the gym or if i should of followed through with my original plan in uni (which was to join a few of the socities there, also getting gym membership to do something when I had a few hours spare in between lessons. I had wanted to take up a matrial art to help with this or kendo if they offered it) Sadly I didn't have much will back then and ended up not doing it. Though on saying that the walks I do help me keep in some sort of shape...

Gah five minutes left...These hours go so fast.

Later Tach hope you have a good one.

5mins? i'll make this quick and brief then lol

If you want to get motivated and get into shape (to your own liking) then there's home workouts you can do what take literally no time and you don't need much to do them.

Squats, Press ups, push ups, reps with tins of beans, tension training and cardio (running and swimming)

Anyway, take care and i hope things go well :)

It seems like everyone in the computing industry has worked in a bank. Almost every lecturer I've had has used their time spent at a bank or financial corporation as an example for what I'm learning.
Financially speaking, it's very rewarding. I've worked for internet companies and telecommunication ones as well. Used to make websites before joining a bank and now I find it hard to go to another industry.
Also, they are avid consumers of technology, so it seems they hired more IT personnel than any other industry.

Chaos your alive! :D
I was talking to Arby about if he saw you on saturday, we came to the conclusion you went on the sunday?
I am, indeed! I was in Brazil during Expo time, I was due to arrive back in the Uk in time for the expo, but I've missed my flight, so arrived on Monday.

Also, i'm free this weekend so if you want to go for a few pints?

Over a Carvery lastnight and few drinks with friends because of one of the lads birthdays we've come to the conclusion that literally nothing phases me when i'm eating.

Topics turned to setting up one of our friends with a woman we don't like because both are desperate, to getting him drunk (only takes 1 budweiser and he's on the floor throwing up everywhere) and pushing him into her flat.

To getting them to go to the cinema together and buying a dildo to put in the popcorn and see if anything kicks off, and finally spiking his drinks with viagra and make him sit there with her over a meal.

Managed to stop my best mate from eating because the mental images in his head was putting him off, was a great laugh though. we love to put leo into strange situations and see what happens (he's practically a welsh version of karl pilkington)
LOL, that's the stuff of legends!

Let me know once you want me to forward your CV to them. Oni's comments also seem pretty valid.

lol only the 3rd time :p though i'd love to go about 10 times lol.

Had a really great weekend, my aunt and grandparents where down from up north, on friday night we all just talked and laughed and had a great time catching up, on saturday we got up really early and went to bovingdon market (excellent for getting cheap things for holidays) picked up a BBQ cleaner for £1, so was pleased with that bargain! then went for a meal at a harvester :)

Saturday night my grandparents went to stay at a hotel because they where really tired. Got to meet my sisters boyfriend for the first time (interesting to say the least) got the chance to do the "protective brother" routine :p been waiting all her life for the chance to do that, well worth the wait lol. Then we all sat watching the mechanic and the expendables. (btw kayls was round friday but didn't stay all night, saturday she stayed round so that was nice...... until she hit me in her sleep... being hit doesn't bother me, but not even waking up to know i've been hit is abit strange lol)

Sunday, went to the local pub, carvery and beer, surrounded by family :) good way to cap off the weekend really. With kayls mums birthday this weekend and fathers day on the sunday its another good weekend ahead, really busy this week too. the return of lads night is set in motion and the cinema's planned (or to be fully planned) and got the indian with the missus and the "to be sister in law + dean" on wednesday.

Very tired, but should bounce back soon when more time passes (11am is my time of the day)

Hope you had a great time in Brazil Chaos :) and hope all had a nice weekend.

have you tried green goblin? its not too bad really.

I've drank many lagers, traditional ales and even a few bitters (not a huge fan of bitter) but it seems that whenever i have kingfisher or cobra i end up feeling abit off the next day, not a hung over feeling. just a sort of sick feeling :S weird really.

Tiger beer is nice :) usually drink that whenever i go to a chinese restaurant. (you just missed out on a 3 cases for £20 at tescos) tescos have a nice range of traditional ales if your looking for more :)

Today I was watching Nanny McPhee 2, and just a few minutes after I saw a scene with a girl screaming about a mouse, and when I looked away from the tv, I did exactly the same when I saw a mouse ran past my wii fit board :p

The travesty is this: that poor rodent won't be able to hold a WiiU controller once the system is released. The designers have failed to take such users into account.
