The General Conversation Area

Met an online friend in town today.
It was alright, a little awkward but better than i thought it'd be ^_^
Has anyone else ever met online friends in real life? :)

Yeah twice. Once it was a disappointing, somewhat frustrating experience.

The other was when I met chaos and ilmaestro. ;P

\o/

That was a cool day for me, you and chaos both seem sound as a pound, good movies, nice restaurant, and Leeds' One Way system is super fun!

I've been to a few meets for a fairly large forum that I have been a reg on for years, always had loads of fun.

West Yorkshire Super Fun One Way System deserves to be it's own bizarre OEL Manga.

'Twas a good day. Even if we are the three most indecisive people on the planet when it comes to finding eating establishments.

Hmm. Maybe it should be the title of the next Kaiser Chiefs album instead.

You know what I'm gonna do now? I'm going to take this BD of The Sky Crawlers I bought today and I'm going to watch some anime.

Morning all :)

After a lovely back breaking weekend, sleepin over the gf's sharing a aingle bed that IMO was too soft, and wasn't big enough for me. I ache

Had a really good night lastnight though, slept in my own bed for the first time since thursday....it was heaven.
Playing Uncharted 2: among thieves, Graphically its blowing my mind...storyline is excellent and why am i in work? lemme go home and play more!!

Usual weekend i guess, set up kayls on her dads ps3, she loves it and didn't know about all the free stuff like internet, bbc iplayer, vidzone, photo gallery to upload pics directly to facebook and loads more. Saturday night i went to Niro's ate a large pizza (wasn't free) and almost ate it all....i'l do it one day. Then went and played pool, then went and saw inception....brilliant film ifnot abit of a mind funk.

Hmm, my Ema form hasn't turned up yet, I won't get my free money at this rate :(
I was never eligible. If I recall correctly, none of those who were entitled to it actually used their allowance to cover academic expenses, which defeated the object of the scheme somewhat.

Went to drayton manor with some friends, couldnt have chose a better day.
Although im not one for going on big rides, i did go on stormforce 10.
Regretted it straight after, my hair didnt thank me for it.

good morning

Today I coughed for ages and ages and ages, I think I should go and by some throat sweets now.

I wasn't eligible either, like Zin, but I know if they don't pay you straight away, you can claim it and they'll pay you a lump sum in a month or so. I know some guy who didn't get any EMA for 2 months, then got a huge lump in December.

Hey guys, so how's life for you? For me life is busy, still haven't heard of my bank account, which means that there is a risk I won't get paid before I leave on holidays and I might have to dip into my saving accounts to pay my rent and everything else =(

That is not fun at all.

Also, waiting eagerly for my Visa to Japan, which should be ready by Friday. =D

Other that that, life has been busier than usual. Which means, I won't finish all the DIY I have to do in my place before I leave on holidays.

Hey chaos. You have savings accounts? No matter what my income, I always end each month with £0. It's the only way I know to live. ;)

When are you off to Japan? Wish I was going... a girl I work with now lived in Japan for a while, just makes me want to go even more.

I'm hopeful this week will tick over nicely work-wise. Today has been near perfect; enough to keep me occupied but still time for the odd coffee break. Last week things were painfully slow (it was like all our customers disappeared) but that wears you out so much more. I'd rather be working than clock-watching.

Ouch, thats worse than me, i used to have a few grand in the savings account....now i'm constant building up a couple of hundred a week but then having to dip into it again straight away :(

Morning all, i'm getting rid of a few games and getting Heavy rain :D
Selling: Lair, Folklore, Need for speed Undercover and Ratchet & clank: a crack in time.

MORNING ALL!!!!!

*groans* Man I can't be arsed today (or anyday in work for that matter). Been quite busy this morning but I've found some spare time to skim over the past weeks posts on AUKN... too much to read. *eyes begin to bleed*

Had an awesome week off work. Got a load of jobs done on the house in preperation for putting it on the market. Painted the bathroom and kitchen. Carpeted the hallway, stairs, landing and bathroom. Gutted the the whole house of useless contents that was just making un-needed mess, devided into two piles of skip and charity. Ended up taking 7 bin bags of clothes and 4 boxes of various items to the charity shop and filled a 4x4yard skip to spilling point. Needless to say I had a very busy week. (and that was only done on Monday to Thursday).

Friday we got up early and set off to Kendal Calling 2010. I love the fact that the my County now has it's own festival! Only took me an hour to get there instead of 4-7 hours (which is usually the case with where I'm coming from).

Festival was awesome! Didn't rain all weekend (I even got a lil sunburn). Drank and partied nonstop and watched some good bands. Some of the bands I saw were DOVES, Calvin Harris, DJ Yoda, oKgO, The Futureheads, Dananananaykroyd, Eskimo Twins, Stereo MC's, New York Tourists and.... that's all I can be bothered writting for now. Needless to say I took full advantage of the music available.

Oh yeah! Also, Saturday was the Festival Fancy Dress day! Four of us went dressed as KISS! Took forever to get all the getup on but was totally worth it! I'll post some pics at some point. Tachi, you've probably already seen them on my Facebook?

Anywho... that was my week in a nutshell. Now it's back to work and all the other not alot going ons. ¬_¬
