bloomin eck, 4-1 , if scotland was in the world cup they'd have won already

Worse still that bloody traitor octopus, picking germany over england
Yeah, I was at a bar watching it, when Germany score their 4th one and Idecided to leave before things got rough. The second english goal was valid, and up to them, they were really willing and deseved. When Germany score their third, it seemed that England simply gave up.
Shame on the goalkeeper for leting a ball through his legs... =P As we say back home, "mané"!

From what i hear, England got a right good thrashing, and they deserved it too. I still think it comes a bit late, as i still think they where not good enough to even get past the group stages, but there we go. They where put in their place now by the team which seems to always do that. Should teach the team and the media to stop over-hyping for a while, at least for a couple weeks.
Yeah, they got beaten hard, but I actually believe they were doing very well until they got that second goal stolen and a third goal from Germany. At the third goal, they simply gave up.

Greetings one and all.

I had quite an eventful weekend. Friday night my mam and step-dad had my dad, my fiance and her parents round for a meal. They've only met once before so it was kind of like a bonding meal. All went well however we had scallops for starters and lucky me ended up getting food poisoning. They tasted fine to me like, but by the time I got to pudding my body new there was something terribly wrong. We ended up having to cut the eveing short due to me being uncontrollably sick and not being able to move without being in pain!

Never had food poisoning before and don't plan on having it again for a long time. It was the worst!

Luckily for me, I have bowels of steel and it onlt lasted 12 hours. Just in time for the family BBQ at my dad's on Saturday. Had an awesome night. Drank alot and ate alot. Guess I was making up for lost substance the night before.

By some miracle I didn't have a hangover on Sunday so I was able to go to a mates for a football party on Sunday. Party was good, however I have no comment on the football. ¬_¬

Anyways, how is everyone. Have a good weekend?

Hey Voddas, had a decent weekend. Can't really remember much of it though... =P

I kid, I stayed home to chill a little on Friday, then I had a haircut and did some groceries shopping and a B'day BBQ party in the evening.

Then on Sunday, I woke up late and went to explore my new neightbourhood a bit. I've found a nice cafe, which I had an all-day breakfast with some really nice juices. I've also stopped a Cancer research uk shop and found myself a copy of Eddie Izzard box set DVD's, which I simply couldn't pass for a fiver.

I went to a bar to wathc England's match, which I had to leave when Germany scored their 4th goal, in fears of people getting a bit too excited there. We then crashed a BBQ from a german girl and had some awesome grilled spicy chicken and beef.
Once we left, my friend had cravings for cantonese-style chestnut cake, so we wento chinatown, where she decided she was hungry. As it was her B'day, I've bought her dinner and we had the cake from a chinese bakery which had very good cakes and terribly rude service. Terribly rude as in "me: Can I have each slice of the cake in a separate box, please? - the shopkeeper: No you can't" sort of rude.
When I got home and had the cake, well, I must say that this was the best cake I had in ages. Seriously awesome stuf.

As you can see, just had a relaxing weekend. Oh, and I'm meeting the german girl from the BBQ again tonight for the Brazilian match.

Yesterday's game didn't disappoint me as much as i though it would, probably because of the poor displays we had between USA and Algeria, plus the unconvincing wins against Mexico and Japan.

Germany truly did deserve to win, so commence the England team grilling.

*Gong*

Hi everyone, Thats real unfortunate getting food poisening Voddas, sounds horrific, least it wasn't coming out of both ends.....

@Chaos, so how was the greasy spoon in the end, I loved exploring my new neibourhood, although the cafe we found was abit dodgy, some old italian place that so happens to sell english brekkie aswell, underwhelming to say the least

So I watched 2 episodes of Shigurui over the weekend and I was extremly dissapointed and the pace of the show. I was hoping for a Basilisk style show with a more serious, realistic approach but so far its very hard going, I wont drop it just yet, but after a poor 3rd episode I may have to :(

Hey Reevo and Fox.

The cafe was actually owned by thai people, they even had thai breakfast. It was lovely, although a bit over-priced.

I'll probably go there again when I feel like giving myself a treat.

Morning Chaos, Reevo and Fox! :D

@Chaos: Just the knid of weekend I like. A chilled one.
Also... German girl? Dare you tell us more? ;-)

@Reevo: Your right, England didn't deserve to win. They played like a bunch of amateurs. The only thing that annoyed me was that 2nd goal not counted. I know it wouldn't have mader any difference like, but still, that was shocking.

@Fox: Never seen Shigurui. It wasn't really of interest to me. Sounds like I'll be staying clear. =P

Gah! Looks liek I'm being put a designated trainer again today! WHHHY MEEE?!!!!!!!

This means I'm probably just going to disapear from the threads again.

*sigh*

Morning/afternoon all

Found out why i was ill, me, sam and leo's drinks got spiked on thursday night. Leo left a night club at 12 and fell asleep on the A6, near wardown park (which is pitch black at night, no lights in the park at all, and known for 2 things, gay people who've raped drunk people, and druggies) Leo was lucky to fall asleep for near 2 hours and then get home without something serious happening to him.

Sam went into a trance-like state and only snapped out of it halfway home, all three of us threw up that night....which never happens these days.

anyway, went for a 8-9mile walk on saturday with ben, ended up burning my neck lol so i'm constantly "wearing a white t shirt" tan :p with just a week and abit to go before i fly off abroad i'm hoping i'll burn here (if anywhere) and then get a good tan in lanzarote.

Were it not for the constant influx of clueless tourists, I fathom that many of the establishments in Chinatown would incur financial difficulties through poor reputation. The cheap buffets especially.

Well, the door was opened, I could smell the BBQ and I had beer, so it was obvious to me what I should do in such situation!

The place we had dinner was good though.

Im glad nothing happend either. The worst thing that could have happend to leo was if he got raped and managed to lose his virginity lol.

It explains why we were all affected as bad as we were though. in future well just have to have abit more attention to our pints, rather than being relaxed (with it being our local watering hole in town).

We go to cheapo buffets for the lack of service but the abundance of food :p

Listening to non stop oldies on steve wright in the after noon bbc radio 2. Just played "hey Jude" from the beatles, now the eagles: hotel california.
TUUUUUNEEE ^_____^

Getting my house valued for free when I finish work! We've been looking for a bigger house out of the town centre and even though we still have a few jobs to do on the house, we were wondering how much it would be worth at it's present state.
I'm hoping for £80,000. Anything more would be awesome but anything less than £70,00 would be a definate no no for us.

Edit: I'm also glad nothing happened to you Tach. I know several people who have been pill popped down town. It ain't good. O_O

Not so often in the pub. I only saw two cases during the course of four years. Down town in the night clubs however... the fact that I know at least four people in my area that it's happened too aswell.... it's shocking how much of this **** goes on.

At least it's not as bad as when people where walking around with needles and giving people HIV?! That was bad about 10 years ago. These people should be shot!

Sounds good mate :) hopefully all those days you've spent doing up the current house will pay off for you, a free valuation is never a bad thing, my parents had one done a few years ago.

Nothing would happen to me, experienced drinker sat here...i knew the moment i felt off that i should head off home, the others stayed out and ended up in danger. couldn't taste anything different in the pints though,
hmmmm......

Azumanga Daioh vl 1, burst angel 3 and 5, desert punk 2 all turned up on sat :)

the clash - rock the casbah!! rod stewart - i am sailing..... rocky theme "eye of the tiger" is on now. loving the music right now :D

Can't beat the golden oldies Tachi! :thumb:

Yeah, hopefully doing the house up will pay off. I'm already guaranteed £40,000 profit from when I bought it. Now I'm looking to see if I can get more.
*rubs hands and cackles to himself*

Sounds like a nice investment you had. I wish houses in London were more like this price...

Yeah I was very lucky mate. I couldn't have timed it better to be honest.

Right, I'm off now anyway to let the valuer in the house.

Ciao for now.
