You dont'know what unfunded is :)

Sorry but i beg to differ. Working just 2 positions away from HR i know exactly what the NHS's financial state it right now.
and put it this way.....were so underfunded that our trust is being merged with another trust. we find out whats going on in November.
but the knock on effect is that things are going crazy. overtime is coming to an end and units/wards and half of hospitals are going tits up to the point that places are being closed.

If there's one thing that you should never confront me on....its linkin park....and the second thing is the NHS :p

My apologies, I was trying to be ironic and my message came across incorrectly.

NHS is the dream health care system for over a hundred countries ion the world. I doubt it has as much money as one would like it to have everything perfect, but still, there are far more health care personnel available and the population has a much better access to health as in most other countries of the world.

One friend of mine died because a hospital could not afford to take a x-ray of his chest. If the hospital did, they would have figure out he had internal hemorragy a couple days before he actually died.

I never heard a story like that here and it was commonplace back home :(

Ahh okay then, It gets hounded about alot, being called crap and useless....yet its due to the lack of much needed money that the NHS is in such state...i think it works really well for what its got.

Anyway...have a great evening everyone...i'm off in a few mins. To the car! and then.....to the pub!!!
(apologies if i've bitten back abit today.....it's been a really bad day)

and i'm gonna move off from talking about work since i'm unemployed at the moment, but tachi is right on the NHS standing, though Attlee would turn in his grave seeing how it is today, but there you go. Thank Blair for that.

Morning Tachi.

I was up early for work today. o_O

You ever have one of those mornings when your alarm goes off and you think you've slept in and dive out of bed in a panic? Well that's happened to me this morning. lol
I'd have normally snoozed for another 20mins after that alarm too. Heh.

lol Thats unlucky mate.
Yeah i woke up at 7am yesterday (after going to bed at 2.30) and i thought i'd slept in, when in reality i was up an hour before i was meant to wake up.

Went to bed at 12 lastnight and woke up this morning feeling more tired than i did all yesterday!

Have a good evening? i went round bens lastnight after kayleigh sent me a txt cancelling meeting up because she wanted to go to the shooting range (golf....not fire arms range....if it was a fire arms range i'd be there :p ) played some more MHU, killed fatalis, 2 Ash Lao Shan Lung, and then sat watchin Dave lol.

Sounds nice and chilled Tach.
Last night I made gammon steaks for tea. They were soo nice! Will be having them again (soon). :p
Then, after doing pots and a few minor house jobs. We kicked back and relaxed on the sofa watching a few episodes of CSI: Vegas untill 11.00. Sarah then went to bed and I played some COD4 untill 12.00 then watched some anime in bed before passing out.
That's my night... very similar to most my weeknights like. Heh. :p

I've got the back pains... :(

It's ok while I'm seated, but it hurts to walk.

I believe it's partly because of general posture, partly because I did silly things at the gym on Monday. It started hurting yesterday, but was really light, so I didn't bothered, but today it's really painful :(

Ouch. *feels pitty*
I hate getting back pains. Guess you must have pulled something at the Gym. When you pull a muscle it won't let you know properly untill almost 48hrs later. I think it's to do with acid in your body... but I'm no doctor.
When I've had pulled by back, I find staying straight ias the key, that or lieing down. Both obviously being impossible when your in work. 1. No beds 2. Work chairs were made for slouching.

Sounds good Voddas, i love Gammon, chunky chips, fried mushrooms and probably pea's, can't forget the tomato sauce *starts to drool*

I had home made Lasagne lastnight ^_^ and as my mum and sister didn't have any of it that means that there's roughly 2/3's still so i'll be heading home and filling a plate of it. chowing down and relaxing, i've been wanting to watch princess mononoke again for the past week or so so i've decided that tonights the night i'll do it.

Sorry to heara about your back Chaos, hopefully its just a bruised muscle and will be fine again in a few days, till then you might need to get some painkillers.
