I guess so Chaos :)
It's just never been a problem getting the girl i wanted. in some occasions i've had gf's that i've had to sit down and think "how the hell have i got someone so beautiful?" but its not all about looks....you can have someone who's blonde with a perfect body, tanned just right so she doesn't look like an orange blur and a pair of D's but you stick with them for 5 or so months....and out of nowhere it all ends...and she becomes a bitter person to you for no reason.

So its not all win...
have always been told that i wear my heart on my sleeve.....guess it doesn't help that i roll up my sleeves on all my shirts and hoodies

but through age comes wisdom, and now i'm abit more....i dunno, distant? i waited for ages to see if i liked a girl enough to even meet her parents. since then i've been to family do's with her and found out her relations know alot of my mates and knew people i knew since i was 5.
I have to say that I've been there, done that a well. I'm a person of very little tact. I try to read people's feelings, but unless you say it clearly I will not figure it out on my own, unless of course, if your eyes are bloosdshot and you're yelling at me. In this situation, I believe I've pissed you off.

so its a small world....but even now....i hold back...to make sure that if the worst happens....it won't hurt half as much.
Tell me about this small world. My neighbour added me to facebook and noticed I was friends with a brazilian guy who was her classmate in uni, when they studied in France.

Oh, how very nice of you to offer us your hospitality...
Anyway, congrats mate! Wish you many happy moments in your new house / life =)

My friend got a good as new Futon from there. It's all good.
Wow, Black, things are really gonna start changing for you now. Have you lived away from home before. I was 17 when I first rented my own place. Was awesome, but very wierd at the same time. Took me about 5/6 years to start feeding myself right.

EDIT: When I say "feeding myself", I was refering to what I ate not who spoon fed me. ;) lol

the website FreeCycle was a great help we got two three seater sofas from using it. Both good nick and it didn't cost us anything.
I use freecycle a lot as well both for getting rid of stuff as well as getting new stuff.

This reminds me that I have rock band drums I wanted to put there. with the ridiculous price I'd have to charge for postage, I can't really put this on ebay and gamestation or game won't pay me enough for the trouble to carry it to the town centre.

Edit: I was about to make a comment about Voddas and spooning, but I'll keep it to myself for the sake's of online friendship. =)

@Chaos, thanks :)

@Voddas nope this is my first time, i always did regret though not moving into student digs when i started uni, i saved money in doing so like but i didn't get the experince and if i had a place there i would of participated more in the clubs and such.

Chaos is a wise man. MoneysaverExpert.com can save you loads! It is wise to sit down and have a look at it. You'll learn a few things too.

Wait... did someone mention sponning... ? Ah well... :p

@Black: You'll be fine mate. I took to it easily enough and I was spoilt at home. Spoilt rotten! Keeping the place clean is the biggest herdle you'll face. I've lived away from home for nearlly 9 years now and I still struggle. Heh.
:D

Voddas....spooning, well atleast he's not out dogging anymore lol

Now you 'll have the laborious task of choosing what furniture goes in which room and what colour the room should be.
But before anything...In the name of everything Masculine...bag yourself a room that belongs to you, for solely your purposes....or the next thing you know...that room will no longer be a neutral room....it will be a room she'll use for her own gain and your stuff will live under the stairs.

:( unlucky Ryo but i'm sure you'll be okay, as voddas says, in most probablity you'll just get a bad dose of the flu and be bedridden for a week and then you'll be back on your feet. Now if i got swine flu on the other hand...then i'm screwed, i mean if a normal flu could kill me if it hits bad then i would stand little chance against swine flu

Ah, that's different then but still... you'll be fine. We coast towns have a good salty Easterly wind that reduces the effect of the disease. Probably more to do with our exposure to polution and the being in the vicinty of a Nuclear Power Plant.
;)
lol

EDIT: Did somebody mention Dogging.... ? Ah well... ;)

I'm not bothered about Swine flu tbh....i still hold my reservations that its a conspiracy thought up to deter eyes from the money thieving government and their claims on homes aswell as the financial climate. i mean isn't it funny that this new pandemic appears right after the recession hits? coincidence i think not.

Flu kills X many people a year....who's to know the difference between normal flu and swine flu? their the same symptoms.

better yet, if i take any more time off work i'm getting fired :D

gonna infect the lot of em now
You'd get fired for been on sick leave? not being paid is one thing, but fired I think it's illegal.

Well, mate of mine from Brazil stood bedridden for 10 days because of swine flu.

Guy is the sort of person who usually eat healthy, exercise etc, so a regular flu would definitely not make that guy stay in bed.

In that old swine flu thread I said that if a pandemic were to happen, there is little you can do to stop it. My beliefs in that, were just re-inforced.

Your correct Chaos. it's illegal to fire anyone whilst they are on sick leave.

And fair enough. but i still think its not going to do anything anyway.

The words pandemic relates to the speed a disease spreads itself, not its severity.

While swine flu is a pandemic, I'm not sure the disease is as fatal as the news make we believe.

The swine flu pandemic is something the papers/news are using to boost audience during the silly season. Yes, people have died from it, and everyone has a right to be scared, but you've probably got a marginally better set of odds of catching Swine Flu and surviving than getting a lift home from work, crossing the road, or smoking.

It's a disease, it kills people, there's little you can do to avoid it (just remember to wash your hands a couple of times a day, and if you do get it DON'T GO TO WORK) so you might as well just get on with life in the meantime. If you're really worried then queue up for the jab with everyone else. Me, I'm asthmatic, I was nearly hospitalised last year from the common cold so my odds are probably a good chunk lower than most people here, frankly I'm more worried about walking home at night than I am Swine Flu.

Edit: Oh, and I work in schools, all of them bar one has had swine flu cases...so I'm also on one of those people most likely to be exposed to it.

I Meant it i don't think it's going to do anything with regards to the world. its not going to wipe out untold numbers of each population. we have counter measures and our Healthcare (even as underfunded as it is) still does a very good job. compared to other countries its not bad at all.

I Had asthma...but i lost it years ago so have nothing to fear.
Without speaking for the NHS, but rather speaking as a person....the "pandemic" expected for the winter period is just as reliable as the weather forecasters. and to put that into perspective.....this afternoon was meant to be raining really hard....and we have lovely blue skies here.

Just took my parents to see my new house..

On the subject of flu, i do agree that certain factors are blowing things out of propotion slightly, same way the media blew the Recession into something that it wasn't. Someone posted a link on this forum a little while ago (i think it was Spyro) of a comedian's views on the media and how they always make it seem like the world is ending.

But Tachi is right, normal flu kills (i get brow beaten about it every single year since i'm bundled in with the eldery on the health risk scale) but the same precautions matter. Actually speaking about that, no doubt i'll start recieving letters from my doctors on the subject of the flu shots for this year
