I have amazon however generally watch things dubbed due to poor vision. I can handle subs, kind of, but either having to pause or rewind so I can actually read them can drastically effect my enjoyment negatively. If I could enlarge the subs that would help with reading them but again it’d cause other problems like taking up too much room on the screen, this is further complicated by the fact that I watch things mostly on my phone rather than the telly, it’s just a convenience thing. It’s easier to hold the phone close to me than it is to sit really pretty close to the telly so there wouldn’t be much screen room to work with anyway.

I might end up giving it a go at some point and see how it goes but with a large selection of dubbed things I still have to watch in all honesty I probably won’t, at least for some time unless people sell it to me exceptionally well. Even then I make no guarantees of finishing it. Sorry if this comes across as overly negative it’s just a bit more complicated for me to enjoy subbed content than it otherwise could be.
 
Also if I were to watch subbed content on amazon how would I go about changing the sub size? Had a very brief look but never spotted how. Is it a t.v only feature or did I just miss it?

bad news on the manga of it. I can't read it, didn't check the language beforehand. it's german! I know there are germans on the forums, I'm just gonna have to have them read to me like I'm 5 -.- I'd probably sleep better?

There's pros to both;

Getting someone German:
- meeting new people
- I can get them to do the voices cause the series did the voices
- I can hold onto their hair before I nod off (I'm 5 so it'd be a grand comfort to know they're there before I'm asleep)

Learning German:
- I can pick up girls who don't understand the difference between German and French
- I can pilot Eva 002
- I can tell Merkel where to go

Still not sure which is better, I've never retained languages though

Not really since I don't really care for both as I'm more of a soul than body type of guy which is quite dandy in it's own way :cool:
 
Digi Con on Saturday! Yay. I'm not even really going to be there for long either. Photoshoot, autographs, look around then back home haha. So I'll be travelling longer than I'll actually be there :p

Sunday I'll be having a day sesh if my friends better, or, just gaming ALL DAY.

Amsterdam last week was ok, my friend who lives there ignored me half the time though on his phone lol.

what are people doing this weekend?

Hope you enjoy your weekend! Personally I’ll be making a retaining wall around the pool (that’ll probably be entire weekend) other than that I’ll probably just get cracking with jobs that need doing that I’ve put off for too long already...
 
my brother leaves for home tomorrow but having him here was fun. we spent a few hours near the local castle today and the rest of the time he wanted to see what shimoneta was about, and he kind of likes it! (he likes anime more than I thought, not sure of his tastes though)

Yeah the pool is a real pain to be honest, there’s a lot of work that it needed and it has been a case of doing it when money and manpower is available which has made it drag on and on. This should hopefully be the last of the work unless something major happens like the liner gets a tear but that’d just need replacing I don’t think there’ll be anymore big jobs for it after this. Fancy coming over and doing the job so I don’t have to? :p
 
I'll pass on coming over to do the job, but I'll invite myself over once it's done to use it :D :p

My photoshoot with Dameon Clarke tomorrow is gonna go horrid, I'll look horrid. Any not selfies of me always look minging lol.

Ga! Amazon delivered something while I was out to a neighbour but nothing on the app or the website tells me which one! I got a name but... I'm not that close to my neighbours

Digi Con was brilliant.

Sunday and Monday I was exhausted, today I'm still the same. Sleep isn't fixing this. Doesn't feel like my usual mental health lethargy either as I'm not depressed right now.

How was everyones bank hols?
