I'm bored, so I've come up with a bit of a game to get Gencov moving
remember 4kids? it's what taught us that Pokemon's brock loves jelly filled doughnuts, no matter how white and grainy they look.
most of us in the UK didn't get much of 4kids, but we did get their pokemon dub.

suggestions could be heavily censoring or changing violent scenes, censoring religious symbolism except for the right one (4kids was american so that one should be obvious) and changing character's roles
 
I'm thinking of giving up PC gaming and stick with consoles because of the cost of video cards are insane the Rtx I'm looking at you nvidia and still haven't finished upgrading my pc and I just got two 1070s the cheapest cards I could find and I just need more ram I only have 8gb I'm getting 16gb soon then the newish build will be finished and it should last me a few years then I'll see how things are in a few years cost wise and that's if I even bother continue with pc gaming.

Yup, even those of us who buy NVidia are starting to see diminishing returns. The new cards are twice the price but the performance isn't impressive and the new gimmick makes the performance of the new cards look worse. Moore's law us being beaten around the head of everyone, consoles will probably catch up with the performance of PC before we start getting something that is worth the price point on release.

I do like PC gaming, but I don't really play new games anyway. Currently I'm going through Dishonoured again and Dark Crusade. I binned Windows off completely a few weeks ago though so I'm gaming in Linux these days. The most recent game I've got is Shadow Tactics and that plays better sat with a mouse in your hand as opposed to a controller.
I don't think there's as much cost involved in hardware if you don't really need it (and can't really use it anyway) :confused:
 
Meanwhile I am old enough to forget how old I am. Especially if asked out the blue. I actually have to work it out. Thankfully I can still remember my D.O.B, just about. Guess I just don't care what age I am.

Tbf I completely forgot about my birthday on Sunday until three weeks ago. This summer has been a sweaty blur for me.

I just have a nagging feeling that nvidia are not being honest about the rtx performance.

Congratulations.

I passed first time as well, but I think I had something like 6 minor faults. I can't remember though, it was nearly 24 years ago 😮
