PMMM hits hard. Homura's my favourite.
Homura-chan is my fave, followed close by Mami-San.
I feel bad playing favourites with the Madoka gang. But I'll still do it.

I'm still kinda disappointed her wish didn't just turn out to be "To never go hungry again" or something.

Ah, Kyokou is pretty special too; her costume is actually my favourite out of the lot and she seemed pretty no-nonsense. It did take me a while to learn that it is in fact a Pokey that sticks out from her mouth!

Haven' watched it in a while, bur my favourite would be sayaka, she shows much more of what the whole thing is about and the musical theme of her powers and her witch is just a treat

Oh for sure, I think Sayaka's character is very well written; she's the epitome of the true fighter of justice, who ses it all through rose-tinted glasses, but it all seems in vain. I think even her costume reflects it, sort of like a valiant knight. It's a shame when her world comes crashing down around her, and she realises the existence of equivalent exchange - for one to be happy someone else has to experience misery and despair.

Very sad indeed, and her musical theme is so heart-wrenching!

Oh, and...

The battle between Homura and Mami is one of the most beautifully crafted scenes I have seen in an anime. I think it's from Rebellion. The preceeding scene is also too adorable - Bebe doesn't want to turn to cheese!

Kyuubey get's many mixed reactions to his character - on the one hand, his intentions are obviously evil, however, he is right when he question why humans feel resentment when they make a decision based on a misunderstanding. The girls accuse him of hiding the truth, but yet, they never really asked anything regarding soul-gems and other contractual b****ks.

I'd want all the "X"'s, including beautiful-a$$ avant-garde imagery to poetically illustrate the despair and sadness, and I'd want Yuki Kajiura to compose my leitmotifs! And of course, SHAFT would HAVE to animate it, I'd want no other. No other animation company could handle bringing my life...to life!
