How's everyone today, then?

Not too bad thanks dude. Mother Nature decided to "knock" early (the cow), so I've been feeling groggy for much of the day. Went out for a walk earlier though to take my mind off it, it was nice ^^

Also, I had an email from the NHS inviting me for an interview on 14th March. It's for a position in the Health Records department, and I have a bit of experience in handling and filing records, however, I have been interviewed for this position in the past, and despite coming from the interview feeling positive, I didn't get the job :(

Ah well, it's a positive step nonetheless, all I can do is my best!

How are you? :)

That's fantastic news! Fingers crossed for you as of now. 🤞
Sounds promising: I mean, they contacted you.

I'm pretty damn good, thanks: I managed to get my texts working again! I had to punch in a code to get to my phone's hidden 'test' screen and refresh the message centre number, which seems to have been wiped by installing that update.

Still having problems with the Google Photos app, though.

Thank you so much, it's very kind ^^

Yeah, it's given me a boost if nothing else; makes me feel like there are employers who are interested. I just get so discouraged when you try and try and nothing happens - no one gets in touch, or there's a huge dry spell with nothing worth applying for. It would be ideal as well since the hospital is literally a couple of miles away and on a bus route (since I have to rely on public transport for the time being). It's only 20 hours a week, but it's something, and if they have overtime (which they will, it's the NHS), then I'll chuck myself in there.

Ah, well done! I hate phones, they're more trouble than they're worth half the time, especially these new fangled ones, but I'm glad you have texts. So long as you have the contact functions working; they're the most important really!

Scotland has lots of snow!

And in other news, it turns out, that water is actually wet! :p

Would it be McFlurrying if it's snowing in Scotland though?...

Yeah, I know the feeling! Seriously, I really, really have my fingers crossed for you.

Just go in there and do what you do. The fact they've sought you out is good.

When was your previous interview with them?

Thanks Neil, I appreciate the support :)

Yeah I've got a couple of weeks to prepare for it so, that's good...all I can do is go in and do my best, show them that I am capable and a good (potential) employee.

Last interview was a couple of years ago, so I think the guard has changed since then. At least, I don't recognise the names in the email they've sent, so in a way it's positive: I get to try and impress new people!

Ba-dum... tssh.

Get yourself that stand-up tour booked now! 😂

Something to fall back on if I don't get this job (or any job) XD I can think of things on the fly when I'm otherwise incapacitated...in that case I'll just tour once a month...
