So I put some fish fingers in the oven and whilst cooking they offended me so I devoured them. Let this be a lesson to you mionions. On a side note; I’m hungry.

If you put it on your cv I will let you be cult leader for a day. Think of the power and abuse of mionions you could have!
 
still, you never know who is looking for that kind of skill, that kind of personality. if I didn't want to chew off my lazy inept hands, I could be in the right situation now to either have you do some work for me, or far more likely the earlier stages of something working with me. yup, being quite close and knowing how hard finding work is are some of the reasons I'd think of you first aya

Do you really think this is the overhaul my CV needs? To include such hobbies as s**tposting? If I get asked for references can I ask you guys? XD

Dude that's really cool and kind, and it means alot, thank you! ^^ I'm just unlucky right now, I guess. I have lots of useful skills; I've had a few different jobs, and whilst a spotty history isn't always desirable, it has given me extensive experience and knowledge of different skills. My area is just absolute rubbish for jobs right now...sometimes you've got to be in the right place, and right now, I'm not!

well I'd say I'm looking for a teacher/tutor/mentor for the art skills, someone who can pretend I'm an idiot and put up with me, but what I really need is motivation to get to doing it myself. the only person who needs to put up with me is me. It's a bit of a cycle where in work I'd rather do anything else, rather do my idea for webcomics, then, when I'm off work I just rest, procrastinate
that said having a swiss army knife of skills you wouldn't have to depend on others employing you

Ah I get you dude. I don't think you're an idiot at all though ^^ As for the art, it's definitely just a case of taking the plunge. Just get doodling, anything, it doesn't matter what it is, and do it everyday. Even if it's just one drawing, it's better than nothing. The thing is, I'm actually being a hypocrite in delivering this advice: I SHOULD be drawing everyday, but even I've been procrastinating so much lately. Being jobless has just impacted my confidence, and I find it hard to motivate myself to do ANYTHING these days, but it is important to just keep the momentum going with art. Another thing is have a look at artists whose work you really admire; it's always good to have inspiration to hand.

I'm no teacher myself but if I were to see any of your drawings in time I'd be more than happy to give any opinions and thoughts as a guide :) As soon as I can get a job I can get my digital art programmes back as well, which makes things a ton easier since I use Photoshop alot to edit my drawings once I scan them in. Don't lose sight of your webcomics though dude, keep at it!

Also, I forgot to mention Fat B*****d XD Was never keen on the AP films, but I do like Mike Myers, he's great at portraying characters ^^
