The Gaming News Thread (for news that doesn't need a thread)

I’m very curious to see what they’ll do with the story in this one. I found V tired and aimless, but RDR2 gives me hope that they might be able to up their game this time.
Guessing it'll be a modern take on Bonnie and Clyde with you playing as both either on their own in their own missions or together and switching like GTA V.
Best story and character for me is still Niko in GTA IV.

And as if by magic...

Keep instalment V alive for over a decade and then release a sneaky remastered IV to tide people over on the long wait for VI? Have Rockstar been copying Bethesda's homework? I hope they keep the original driving mechanics intact, GTA IV handling is an accurate simulation of driving poorly maintained 20+ year old sh*tboxes, and that is my speciality.

There have been rumours of a GTA4 remaster for the last decade. The last "reports" from "insiders" (ie. "My uncle works at Nintendo", etc) were that it was cancelled around the time the PS2 trilogy remasters were released. I'd consider any mention of it clickbait until proven otherwise.

You saved me from having to post all of that. 😅

I'm glad that Pragmata hasn't been cancelled. It looks promising, but more conventional than I expected after the wild reveal trailer (in 2020?!) and the massive delays.

Silent Hill f only being a few months away is a big surprise, considering that this is the first time we've seen gameplay. I love the way it's merging the styles of Silent Hill and Siren.

Nice to see that the Final Fantasy Tactics remaster is real. Being fully voiced is a neat upgrade.

Thief VR is making me consider getting PSVR2 again...a bit.

Is Everybody's Golf ever going to stop looking like an early PS2 game? I enjoy the series, but it really needs a boost in production values.

Same here, just glad it's finally coming by GTA202VI

I was leaning on next year but I'm glad it's coming much sooner. I haven't finished Silent Hill 2 Remake yet but from what I've played, it's been a very enjoyable but tense and creepy experience. I appreciate SH f is taking a even more gross and sinister direction. I've already pre-ordered the steelbook from Amazon which has a very grotesque illustration on the cover.
Konami is so back

This PS Direct has been a good one, lots of titles of interest in there 👀
