So 15 games I have beaten this year in total, for the VNs I have cleared at least 1 route for me to count it in my cleared games. I think I have to make finishing games before I buy new ones, a New Years resolution :p
 
Wasn't sure where else to post this. I didn't want to make a new thread in Creative for what is just a blog I only post to a couple times a year. Just so happens my top 10 games of this year are pretty much the only games I finished this year, so that works out well enough to post in here, methinks.

I have no idea how my numbers compare to previous years (never thought to keep track until @Demelza suggested it), but here’s what my list of games beaten in 2017 looks like:

21 games 16 games games beaten in one year, two of which that I spent over 100 hours playing, is pretty good for me. That’s not even counting Breath of the Wild, which I’ve put over 85+ hours into and will likely sink another 50-60 hours into until I eventually hit the credits. I just really hope that 2018 doesn’t have any JRPGs that take me as long to beat as Persona 5... ;_;

I'm kinda disappointed I didn't break 45, but at the same time I'm amazed I managed to play so much! There was so many good games in 2017 and I'd be surprised if I managed to top this amount in 2018, but I guess we'll see. :D
 
I find the lack of Horizon Zero Dawn in some of these lists disturbing.
Hopefully it means you are all in process of completing it (;)), as to not play the best PS4 game this last year is just wrong!

I've played it! I never finished it though because I made the mistake of playing Breath of the Wild first and it's a better open world game than Horizon, so I started to get put off by the limitations of Horizon...

How far did you get? The story is awesome and must beat Zelda in that aspect because as far as I can tell is the same as all the rest, Ganon shows up and you have to beat him.
 
I've been looking over my games played last year and there's not as many as there normally would be. I've spent a lot of time replaying older games, which didn't leave much space for the new stuff to fit in.

This year has been a really good one for games, although my overall completion list is down from last year. A lot of replies in this list too, thanks to things being ported to Switch and me picking them up to play again. I'm looking forward to seeing where things go in 2019.

Absolutely none for, probably, the first time since I was old enough to be good enough to complete games!
Played loads of that hunting simulator that Rockstar brought out though 😁
 
For me to complete a game means 100% of the achievements done. I did finish quite a few main modes but I didn't complete them yet so I don't feel like I'm done with them yet.
