Because of all the Haibane Renmei talk (and because I'm a new feather now ;)) I've changed my avvie to Reki. :p I just wish I could find a better quote to go along with it..(it's been a while since I saw it) ^^;
 
To mark the end of my chibi-dom, and ascent to first child I've changed my avatar to Li Syaoran from Cardcaptors Sakura. I've quite a few of these for future use; not just Li but also Eriol and Zachary (don't know the original Japanese name).

I chose pictures of these characters because I liked the sailor suit style uniforms that the boys, as well the girls, wear at Sakura's school. I've always liked those sailor suit outfits I saw in old photographs, or paintings or period dramas (usually of E.Nesbitt stories), and regret they went out of fashion several decades before my time.
 
Mine's a sprite of a red mage in his "cast magic" frame, because red mages own like a Ninja riding a dinosaur...with febreeze.
