The Anime/Manga I Bought Today Was...

Bit late this, but I picked up both the entire series of Kinos Journey and Robotech for £30 at the con last weekend.

I am happy ^_^

I'm really looking forward to it, actually :] I want to collect all of Buddha and Phoenix too, which means I'll have my work out for me; both series are becoming harder and harder to track down :/

I got the first volume of Buddha one day a long time ago... next day I was back at the bookstore to get all the rest of it =)

I didn't read Phoenix though. Heard it was considered by Tezuka himself as his master piece... So far I've seen his manga biography, Buddha, Ribbon no Kishi. I wanted to see some more of his anime though, but I guess only blackjack got a release. Oh, and some of astro boy as well...

Yeah it took me awhile to rummage around for some of them. Actually in my impatience I found myself owning double copies of Buddha volumes 2 3 and 4 of Vertical's paperback editions :roll: I'll have to flog them off at some point.
Between Dororo and the eagerly awaited Black Jack, Astro Boy hasn't really been on my to-get list, but I just know I won't be able to resist the vol 1&2 omnibus that Dark Horse will have out in the autumn.

One question though....what happened to my Buso Renkin vol 9 that i ordered the same time as vol 10?

You're so great for filling me in on Tezuka US releases; were it not for you, I wouldn't even know that Black Jack was coming out soon! And now, you give me the great news about Astro Boy from Dark Horse! :] Thanks! Have you read Metropolis, it's on Play.com for €10 right now and I'm considering it ...
 
Finally decided to order in Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu volume 4 LE, only one i was yet to get. Also now pre-ordered the third FMP novel Full Metal Panic! Into the Blue which is out this month.
 
Im hopefully going to get Full Metal Panic Novels vols 1 and 2 and maybe Cowboy Bebop vol 2 sometime this month :D
